Bought the 1Tb SN850 gen 4 version and couldnt be more pleased. Ive owned Sabrant and Samsung drives in the past and this is in my experience the best value for money in the higher end segment.

Speeds are matching the description. Glad I bought it for 109 USD on prime day.

I got this as the SSDs that came with a heat sink built in cost a fortune. This was half the price of the version with built in heat sink so just had to get one to attach which cost me less than a tenner. It was simple to fit and then the whole unit was simple to plug in.

Good speed on my ps5 needs a heatsink fitted but was a fairly easy job

I have it right between cards in a small adapter card.

Ich wollte meine alte Samsung 970 EVO 500 GB durch die WD SN850 1 TB ersetzen. Leider wird sie auf meinem Asrock Z370 Extreme4 Board nicht erkannt.

I bought this to install in the new PC I was building as my boot drive along with a 2TB SN750 for data. I read many reviews and was almost put off by the fact that most of them mentioned how hot this drive could get but I bought it anyway and since Ive had it installed I can honestly say its usually around 42-45C and has never gone above 50C. I have it installed under the heatsink that comes with an Asus ROG Strix X570-E. One thing I will add though is that whilst it is very fast and the PC boots almost immediately, I dont think Id notice any real difference over the Gen 3 drive other than the figures provided by utilities such as CrystalDisk. It maybe down to my personal usage but Im not sure if the extra expense is actually worth it.
