WD_BLACK 1TB SN850 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND, Up to 7,000 MB/s - WDS100T1X0E

I bought this to replace an AORUS 1tb nvme Gen4. The AORUS was advertised at 5000mb/s and on my PC it exceeded 5000mb/s. This drive is stated as having 7000mb/s (1tb version) but it falls short as seen in screenshot.

I got this as the SSDs that came with a heat sink built in cost a fortune. This was half the price of the version with built in heat sink so just had to get one to attach which cost me less than a tenner. It was simple to fit and then the whole unit was simple to plug in.

En este caso el ordenador tiene un controlador al que este disco duro lleva al máximo de su velocidad, quedando lejos de la velocidad límite del disco con lo que no se calienta tanto y puede mantener perfectamente las funciones sólo con un pad térmico a la placa base (es exáctamente lo que andaba buscando porque el disipador de aluminio de la versión con disipador es demasiado grande para que quepa en la caja de mi ordenador portátil).

Pour une mise a niveau de mon PC jai installé ce SSD pour mettre lOS. Pas de problème dinstallation et tourne depuis plus de six mois RAS..

Non ho mai avuto una memoria di massa così veloce, la uso per lavorare con gli editing video con premiere.

This M.2 ssd is 1000% worth it for PS5 or pc storage. It is simple to follow and install and has amazing read and write speeds. Would definitely recommend this awesome product!

I installed this in my X570 board, complete with the boards heatsink, but it still hit 81 degrees according to the WD toolbox. The temperature graph showed the values in red, suggesting that the drive would be damaged running at that temperature for long periods. Shortly afterwards, the file transfer I was using to test the drive slowed to a crawl.

My son recently did a serious upgrade on his PC and bought this drive. I decided it was time to upgrade my motherboard and I knew if this worked great for him it was a safe bet for me. Im not disappointed.

I am using this one on gen 4 slot, With ryzen 5950x its really does what says. Game load speed spedd take 2-3 sexond, windows boot, unzipping files..... wooahhh!!!! Fluid experience.
