Absolutely fuming with this drive. Im running the beta version on my PS5, should work no issue. However I installed and it was dead.

Works like a charm for my PS5, but I would recommend getting a heatsink with it as well. I got the M.2 Heatsink Cooler, NVMe M.2 2280 SSD Double-Sided Heat Sinks with Silicone Thermal Pad for PC/PS5 (Gray) which was difficult to install, but looks nice once completed.

I paired this with the Sabrent PS5 heat sink and it’s been perfect in my PS5. 1TB is more than enough storage. I now have 27 games installed of varying sizes and still have 500GB left for more.

Faster than my old drive, which is impressive due to it also holding more data.

Ces braquets mémoire M2 mon été suggéré, jen avais déjà testé 2 sur la même carte mère et javais de la place pour 3 alors, jen ai acheté une autre pour doubler mes sauvegardes. Cest dune rapidité incroyable. Je travaille de très gros fichiers 3D et depuis les résultats sont spectaculaires. Je recommande vivement, par contre, il est nécessaire davoir une carte mère qui supporte bien cette vitesse.

The hardware itself is fine, but the software to clone your hard drive, if you want to transfer your operating system and programs to the new drive, is a mess.

I have this and the sn850x at 2tb. My crystaldisk mark benches shows they perform the same within 95% confidence ANOVA. In some run instances, the SN850 beats the SN850x.

I ordered the no-heat spreader version and got a QIVYNSRY M.2 heatsink 2280 to go with it, all in all a good price and less than other brands with no heat sink. Installation into the pS5 was less than ten minutes.
