I wasnt in the market for an PS5 SSD because I already had a 1 TB Crucial P5 Pro which was great. Enter Prime day. The 2TB dropped to $180 w/o the heatsink, I paid $150 for my P5 Pro last year, this was a no brainer. $197 w/the heatsink, however, I already have a few new heatsinks at home because I build computers. This thing screams in the PS5 6800MB/s is insane. The PS5 games play great and it even increases loading times on PS4 games. Sadly today its back to normal price but its worht it when on sale.

I have 3 of these installed in three different PS5s. Ive never had an issue with any of them. They install and setup quickly, and work just as well as the built-in drive. This will be my go-to for any future needs.

Plenty of videos available, make sure you either buy the ones with the heatsink or purchase one separately. I ordered this one because of the built-in sink and I prefer easy. The size and price were right for me. Ensure you guard against static electricity when installing or you could be out of some money. Overall super happy with this purchase.

installed in my nuc12dcmi9 kit and everything works perfectly. just a bit sad that the price came down from 239 to 189 a bit shortly after i received my order!
