> 3 dayVery fast drive! Runs hot, added a passive cooler to tame the temps.

> 3 dayUsed for PS5. Why is this cheaper than the standard wd black? Who cares. Works fine and so far no issues with data transfer or reading while playing games.

> 3 dayOne thing before you enjoy your drive, the drive requires a M2-M3 screw of sufficient length in order to screw the side, opposite to the insert side, in. You need the top diameter of the screw to fill the half circle on the side of the drive to hold it down hence M2-M3, but it needs to have the proper length. I cant take out the drive and measure the mm, but when I bought some 3mm in length screws, they were not long enough. Go for 5-7 mm at my guess. Other than that, install away! My performance comments are next.

> 3 dayThis is the best ssd to upgrade your PS5, hands down. It’s blazing fast and I don’t have to worry about having to make room in my hard drive for new games.

> 3 dayHey, guys, you need to insert and push tight the ssd with your main-board. if not, your PC would not recognize it and not power on. I was scared at the begining, I thought my board was burned. I pushed it harder. Then, everything is OK.

Greater than one weekIt is the best nvme ssd that I have tried until the moment (in PCI-E 4 M2 platform), but I dont now if exist a best ssd nvme (think should it haven). Other thing, its some hot it, if you dont have a hot disipator in your motherboard, you should it have one, or buy the ssd with the disipator.

> 3 dayTook about 15 minutes to take out of the package, open the PS5, slot it in, close it up, boot, and start installing games. Works identical to the internal storage as far as I can tell. Played spider-man and a few other games with zero issues. Wish I had bought a larger one.

> 3 daySo Ive looked at reviews on YouTube and compared SSDs like the Samsung 980 Pro and Seagate Firecuda from their performance and heating, and the Firecuda wins it overall, BUT fails on the pricing. Plus the speed on these drivers are VERY minimal, and even though the WD Black supposedly can get a bit warmer, it aint anything for you to even worry about at all. Why would I want to spend on a Seagate Firecuda 2TB M.2 SSD for $360 when I can save $60 or more on the WD BLACK 2TB M.2 SSD? It is still really fast regardless, and people never really had any issues with the WD Black as it has been out longer. It is also the 1st SSD that Sony recommended people to get for the PS5. Western Digital also offers a 5 year warranty on the SSD, just like the others.
