On my PlayStation this will not work, but it probably is just a PlayStation software-based issue.

Let it be known that I am in no way a professional or a sevant when it comes to tech and gaming. All I know was 600gbs was not going to cut it so I ended up getting this WD Black 1 tb for my PS5. Easiest installation ever, the hardest part was popping out that panel for the first time! You can see in the images I attached that it was successful. Im not sure what those read speeds mean but I know Im happy with them. Best of luck everybody!

It took less than 10 min to install and setup. But with the heat sink pre installed if you are using for PS5.

You see and read all the right buzz terms: gaming, gamers, top performance, gaming mode and other claims. But the truth is, if you own any recent 1TB+ NVMe PCI 4.0 SSD, you wont see any noticeable performance gains on Windows 10/11with this model. Save your money.

Easy install to a PS5. Just make to sure to purchase a Heatsink if not already included. Great addition to my ps5. No more deleting games to make space for new ones.

I bought this for my PS5. Works great. No complaints here. Its pricey, but fast and more storage now for my PS5 games.
