Its working like a dream so far - but buyers beware. Its not shipped with an anti-static bag, so you could end up with a DOA. Definite surprise upon opening!

I loved the product, at the time of buying it the price was a bit over suggested MSRP of Gen 4 PCiE NVME internal SSD (399.99 for a 2 TB model with my actual Mb/s being down by 55 of the stated 7000 (or 7 GB) for what I needed it for are easily found at $330-345), but for a change of the trustworthiness of storage solutions WD’s SN850 2280 drives are now reliable unlike WD Black HDD game drives. Would highly recommend this SSD for anyone with either a hungering for either a great upgrade on their Gen 4 capable Motherboards or to end the debate now on console extra storage speeds (Xbox you lost big time with your dopey 2.43 GB/s obtrusive drive). With that final update with the console software opening up the Extra internal SSD, gone are the days of juggling around your high end PS5 level game library.

The package arrived in pristine condition and it was delivered to the Philippines in just 6 days (standard shipping) after I placed my order during Prime Day. The price including the shipping fee was about 30% lower compared to the local price here so I bit the bullet and tried Amazon for the first time. I installed it to my PS5 the day I received it and transferred all the games that I still plan to play with. The transfer speed is very fast and the game performance is on par with the internal storage if not better. I have been using it daily since then and have not encountered any issues so far.

Got this for my PS5. Got it for a great price and it was very easy to install. And the read speed that it showed my when I formatted it was about as fast as the ps5 is capable of.

It came earlier than the expected delivery date. I bought it to save the game, but its fast to read and write, so I think its good to install the operating system and use it as the main.

Got the 2TB extra storage since I plan on keeping my PS5 until the next generation. Great value and PS5 is running smoothly!

If you want to double the storage on your PS5, install one of these. For me, 1TB was a good value for the price. I found some tutorial videos online, and 10 minutes later the installation was complete! Keep in mind youll need some tiny screwdrivers for the installation. I already had them so it wasnt a problem. Its been a few weeks and Ive had zero issues. I can just move games and files from the original drive over to the SSD quickly. Im not sure if it actually speeds up load times, but it definitely hasnt slowed any down. Highly recommended.
