This can not be used for the PS4 and Xbox series X as a external storage device. This will not format for either system even though it meets the requirements for both systems. There is no excuse to why this drive can not be formatted to store games.

Small but a little chunky (should be durable) works fine. I used it for storage not for gaming Design styling is nice. not boring. fast enough over usb 3. no complaints.

Worked good on my Xbox One. Made load times so much faster. Also, it works good on my X series. Being able to move games, without needing to re download is so nice

In the product description there is a sentence buried in the description. “ Play and store Xbox One games; archive Xbox Series X|S games. Xbox Series X|S games archived to drive must be transferred to console before playing.” In other words you can’t play new games off this drive. Some of you might be willing to go through the hassle of shuffling games in and out of your console every time you want to play. Not me. I should have watched the YouTube videos that warn about this and that you have to buy the specific seagate expansion drive if you want to play X/S titles from the drive.

Ive been using this for a little over 2 months now with my PS5 to store all of my PS4 games on that Im still playing. Overall the cost, storage capacity, and the read and write speed are fabulous! I could not be happier!

Very easy setup with my PS5 and most importantly its blazing fast! highly recommended. My only gripe is you can get more terabytes with a standard hard drive as opposed to this SSD, but speed and performance are the reasons why I purchased

I used this SSD on my PS4 and PC and had no issues. This is a nice little stand alone, self powered unit ideally suited to sit next to your came console because it comes with a stand so it can take up a little less space. While I also had no problems attaching this to my PC to use for general storage, I wouldnt chose this as the first choice for that mainly because there are other SSD options that are smaller, lighter and even have more storage that are better suited for transportation and moving with you.

Great addition to my new Xbox Series X. Super fast compared to other externals and works flawlessly. Able to transfer 100GB games in a matter of minutes instead of over an hour.

Bought this to use as a Time Machine backup for a Mac OSX computer. It works great, very fast, almost no heat. Its also about half the size of a normal 3.5 external case.... Only complaint as same as other users, the included cable is a joke. I bought a separate cable meant for high speed usage and its great.

You get around 1.8 TB of storage. I use this for just PC games, the loading times are instant. I recommend catching this on a Amazon or Best Buy sale if you can. I recommend this for PC and not for Series X or PS5, get the expansion card for the Xbox Series S/X and a mechanical external drive. The PS5 just wait for a affordable internal SSD replacement and get a mechanical drive to play PS4 games and off load PS5 games until prices come down.
