> 3 dayThree months impression for 2TB D30: Editing rating from 4-stars to 5-stars. Good buy for less than $100 per TB. Better than 1Gbps transfers between PS5 and D30. D30 remains cool-to-touch during lengthy transfers. OEM USB-C cable is trash. A certified 10-GBps cable from retailer with the initials “Bravo Bravo” resolves the connectivity issue. First week impressions for 2TB D30: Not the fastest SSD but reasonable given the 100-dollar-per-TB cost. The included USB-C to USB cable was faulty. PS5 console did not recognizes the D30 when linked to the PS5’s rear USB ports (per Sony instructions). Purchased a quality USB-C to USB certified 10GBps cable locally to resolve the connectivity issue. Saved the PS4 game files to the D30. The PS4 game saves and PS5 files/saves must stay on the console. (The D30 can save PS5 game files but they must be moved back to the console before playing…) Good build quality on the plastic outer case. D30 did not get hot during use (yet). Placed the D30 on a 5x5 heatsink block for insurance.

> 3 dayWD Customer support informed me that this product, which was supposed to be new, was old and out of warranty. Oh and did I mention it didn’t work correctly right out of the box? If I want used electronics i’ll use eBay…

> 3 dayThis drive is quite small and rather nice looking. My Mac recognized this drive immediately. I found that I could sent a large file to this drive much more quickly than to my other external drives. I think drive would be a good investment for anyone requiring a quick hard drive for a good price.

> 3 dayYou get around 1.8 TB of storage. I use this for just PC games, the loading times are instant. I recommend catching this on a Amazon or Best Buy sale if you can. I recommend this for PC and not for Series X or PS5, get the expansion card for the Xbox Series S/X and a mechanical external drive. The PS5 just wait for a affordable internal SSD replacement and get a mechanical drive to play PS4 games and off load PS5 games until prices come down.

> 3 dayBought this to use as a Time Machine backup for a Mac OSX computer. It works great, very fast, almost no heat. Its also about half the size of a normal 3.5 external case.... Only complaint as same as other users, the included cable is a joke. I bought a separate cable meant for high speed usage and its great.

> 3 dayBought for my Xbox Series X to replace my 2TB harddrive and it worked great for 2 weeks until games stopped installing and ones already installed corrupted. Absolutely disappointing that my Seagate harddrive can last 6 years (and still going) and this last 2 weeks. Ended up returning for refund. Not going WD again!!!

> 3 dayYou need to add storage to your 1 TB Xbox Series X as it turns out the games take massive space in GB. This drive adds storage but it will rapidly fill up. Get a 2TB or more add on SSD. These is a relatively inexpensive 8TB add on drive but it is not SSD so is slower. Anyway I added this SDD. It does what it can, but get a bigger SDD
