> 24 hourAfter so many broken umbrellas I purchased previously, I decided to pay more and get this outstanding umbrella. It is heavy duty, big enough to deter rain away and most of all its braced structure is so strong to resist strong wind and gusts and is so much different than the other umbrellas with metal mechanism. I really advise everyone to spend more and get it, its worth it.

> 24 hourThe umbrella is rather heavy to hold. The button in the handle opens the umbrella, but it does not close the umbrella.

> 24 hourIt’s hard to find a good, solid, well built umbrella for a reasonable price. I’ve found it in this Weatherman Umbrella. It’s well made, sturdy, it gives me good protection from them rains here in southern Kentucky. Well made sturdy umbrellas that you can count on are rare in my experience. They just don’t last and fail often, especially in the wind. This one is beating the elements so far and I can recommend the umbrella and the Weatherman brand without reservation.

> 24 hourThe truth is hard to find in their advertising of this umbrella. This umbrella has fragile plastic connectors that snapped and the fabric is attached with what appears to be loosely tied sewing thread. The false claims are many including that it will resist a 55 mile an hour wind, not true! Im a sailor, so I know my winds! The umbrella I purchased flipped backwards in a 15 knot gust and broke the arms and tore the threads, you can see this in my image. The part that made me angry was the fact that they clearly state that it has a lifetime warranty, Not true. This company took ages to respond to my emails then they directed me to a warranty form on their website that does not work. Its not a bad umbrella, its an average umbrella that is overpriced and over hyped. My advice is if you have issues with this umbrella and they fail to honor the lifetime warranty, call Amazon and they will force this company to refund your money or replace it.
