Pros: Feels very sturdy; like it will last for a long time. The handle is a good shape for gripping but not the most comfortable Ive felt. Ill gladly take this tradeoff though because I want to feel confident holding it on windier days. Cons: Mine is slow to expand the canopy when I open it compared to other umbrellas including Weathermans own Travel. When I press the button, the shaft shoots out with a satisfying force, but the canopy remains folded for a second or two; it feels like forever. I usually end up shaking it a little to get it to open. Other thoughts: Seems like its a bit pricey for what you get. If it at least had auto-close then itd be a better value. I cant mark it off for that since I knew it didnt have auto-close when I purchased it.

No doubt this is a great umbrella, however, for the price…..I expect to receive what I ordered. I ordered “Sage” & received “Cobalt Blue”. Returning the item. May reorder if Sage becomes available.

Umbrella is sturdy and great quality, however the button to engage the umbrella is too sensitive and can easily activate with a slight touch

Mechanism works well thus far. Have not had it long. A NYC gust will tell me more. Color selections are good, also.

Bought a Weatherman Collapsible to replace a LifeTek that finally died after a number of years. The umbrella looks great and I think it would be super sturdy and long-lasting. The one issue is the length of the umbrella when collapsed. For me the length was a bit too long for an urban commuter. Id have a tough time getting this thing into my backpack or messenger bag. I think this would be a great umbrella for the car. Small enough to not get in the way, but large enough expanded for good coverage. I returned this one and bought another LifeTek.

The item was what I expected.

The umbrella is rather heavy to hold. The button in the handle opens the umbrella, but it does not close the umbrella.
