I have never used this umbrella but I have given three as gifts. From what the recipients have told me they like the umbrella.

I think its an outstanding product that I lost and had to replace. Perfect for my job when working outside on location.

Ive chosen the orange one...Beautiful! Very good quality. The only minus point is the weight. A bit heavy on a long ride. But for walking the block on a windy and rainy day, just perfect!

This umbrella seems to work awesome during nasty winds and heavy rain. Its a little bit heavier then expected, definitely have to switch arms holding it.

This thing is designed the way anyone with common sense would improve upon the typical umbrella. The Weatherman took the time to do it. If you want very lightweight, get their smallest model. My fiancé prefers their smaller compact umbrella. I like the full size compact and have a full size non-collapsible one I leave in the car.

After so many broken umbrellas I purchased previously, I decided to pay more and get this outstanding umbrella. It is heavy duty, big enough to deter rain away and most of all its braced structure is so strong to resist strong wind and gusts and is so much different than the other umbrellas with metal mechanism. I really advise everyone to spend more and get it, its worth it.

Since I received this umbrella, there has been no rain to truly test it out in, so this review is merely on its physical traits. First thing to mention about this umbrella (the collapsible) is that it is big (not compact/ultra portable) AND heavy.. you will definitely NOT be storing this in your pockets, but HOPEFULLY that translates to sturdy and trustworthy during a rainstorm and more importantly not flip inside out (fingers crossed)! I was a little nervous seeing others had issues with theirs not opening or having other defects (as mine shipped from Canada and the reviews did not appear favorable for their customer service), but so far mine doesnt appear to be affected.. of course the ultimate test during use is still to come. This is definitely not an umbrella you would throw in your bag for casual or daily carrying/casual use if needed.. their smallest umbrella (the travel) may be a better option for casual carrying (according to their website its over half a pound lighter, but still almost a foot tall). Another negative: this only has one button for automatic opening, it is a manual close. Perhaps the biggest negative of all? The price. Why would I spend so much on an umbrella? Lets just say my hopes and expectations are high! Some positives I can mention: the handle is semi curved in your hand, which should resist/counteract the forces of wind pushing you. It also comes in a nice selection of colors. And lastly, it has a vented canopy. Would I buy it again? Eh, Im on the fence with that one, 50/50. I wanted an umbrella mainly to leave in the car for downpours and for that reason I will be keeping it.

The colors are beautiful but the design is what makes this the best-ever umbrella. I used it in a downpour with high winds, mine was the only umbrella that didnt succumb to the wind. Great product!
