WeeSprout Silicone Baby Food Freezer Tray with Clip-on Lid Perfect Storage Container for Homemade Baby Food, Vegetable & Fruit Purees, and Breast Milk

I bought these to store baby food and breast milk. I found that even though I put it on a flat surface in the freezer, the lid is not tight and as I opened my freezer, they would spill. I like the product overall, however I am disappointed the lid does not seal tightly. It is easy to get the frozen food from the molds and I do enjoy that there little lines to tell you when you’ve reached the portion size.

I first purchase this product because I wanted to cook for my son the most natural dishes and also because Wee Sprout products looked super cute. I wanted to cook by myself because if you pay attention to what is being sold at the grocery stores, many of the baby food is labeled as made in china, yes! Not sure why apple sauce has to come from so far and God knows what type of screenings/test these foods go through, but the fact is most of these are coming from there. Also, environment should be everybody concern specially for us, parents of the new generation. I want to leave the best planet for my son and the next generations so the least we can do is buy reusable products. I also have to say that this is by far the best costumer service I have ever had. They are proactive when it comes to addressing issues and seems to always put costumer first. I like a hard working company when I see one and this is definitely the type of business we should support. Good job!

After the first use, one of the plastic lid locks was found in our son’s food. It didn’t seem like I was being overly aggressive with taking off the lid. Could be dangerous for an infant. I gave 2 stars because the trays work great for freezing. The trays are stable and the food is easy to pop out. Edit: customer service reached out and helped with the broken lid. Will add a star for their concern. The trays are still working good despite that one latch. We are really careful to make sure we don’t miss another one breaking off into his food.

UPDATE! Food pops out so easy!!!! Ok so I reached out to the company about the smell of the product. They were extremely pleasant to deal with. The kind lady gave me a couple more pointers on how to get the smell gone. Boil it for 15 minutes (I had boiled it but not long enough because I was scared to ruin it. Once it cooled I washed with the fragrance free bottle soap and dried and boiled it again. No more smell!! Super excited to use these now! Oh and I did some research and asked the company about the pinch test heads up that is not a sure fire way to determine if something is 100% silicone. Very happy with the product and the companys help. Will buy again for sure!

I use this to store my baby purées. They have been great, easy to use and easy to clean.

Third purchase. Makes freezing homemade baby food super easy. I deep freeze for about 24 hours and pop them out into some reusable ziplock bags. Easy to clean and sterilize if needed.

I am a senior with no need for baby food items, however, I thought this would be great for freezing small food portions, especially for single people. I made a batch of homemade applesauce, filled this tray and put it in the freezer. This way, I can have a single portion of applesauce with my meal whenever I want it. This freezer tray makes it so easy. It washed beautifully on the top rack of the dishwasher as well. Im thinking about getting a second one of these freezer trays because it is so handy.

I felt like this was a good idea… those cubes are so big and solid it takes forever to thaw and they are kind of hard to remove from tray
