> 3 dayI bought these to freeze egg whites from a container as we dont use them often enough. I wanted to freeze portions and put them into a freezer bag for use later. To remove the frozen portions I had to microwave a wet dishrag for 1 minute and put it over the bottom of the frozen container to thaw it enough to pop out the food. I had to do this twice to be able to get the food out. So, of course the bottom of the whites had started to thaw a little to allow me to remove them. It wasnt as easy as it looked in the demonstration If I could post a review for their customer service it would be a 5. Their support on my problem has been outstanding.

> 3 dayGood for the purpose but not long term use. The pesto I made and froze in it continues to smell after being removed and cleaned. Not pleased with it since I don’t like want everything I used it in to smell like pesto from now on The company was so thoughtful that they sent me another one to use. It doesnt smell but I am just freezing the pesto in it for a few hours and then placing them in a zip lock bag. I think that will help. Also they send some wonderful bamboo bowls and stainless steal containers that I LOVE!!! it has been perfect use for my lunches and I love the color and style. I highly recommend those items! Thank you so much!

> 3 dayI got this after a few unfinished bottles and lots of tears over wasted milk. I tried putting one or two ounces into my storage bags but ended up just going through so many bags it didnt feel worth it. This silicone tray is the best way to fight those problems. If my little one finishes her full bottle, I can pop one or two of these milk cubes into a bottle and she is satisfied. I freeze them in one-ounce portions and put them into freezer bags labeled with the week and just pull them out to be defrosted as needed. The only con would be that I filled my trays up to the one-ounce line but when they defrosted in my bottle, they were less than an ounce. Ways around that might be overfilling the tray a little bit or pre-measuring the amount in a bottle then placing in the tray. Either way, super small speedbump but still very much worth it! Highly recommend.

> 3 dayThis product works well, as described and made perfectly-portioned baby foods. The silicone makes it very easy to remove food once frozen. However, it arrived with an awful smell that I can’t describe. No matter how much I wash the tray, this smell remains. I just hope it isn’t affecting the taste of the food for baby!

> 3 dayIt has been more than a year since I bought 2 of these trays, and then 2 more. I wanted to make all of my first child’s baby food and after a lot of searching I found these. They’re amazing. I successfully made all of my first, and now second, babies’ food pretty easily. Yes, the trick to getting the frozen “cubes” out is to let them sit on the counter for 10-15 min (or less if it is really hot). Then they just pop out. I store many different puréed whole foods and microwave them as needed. These are truly the best homemade baby food helpers!! ** Get the pouches too! This is how I was able to 100% make all of my babies’ food - even when we were out, I would squirt the food into their mouth, no spoon needed. The trick for these is to NOT overfill. They’ll pop open at the bottle if you have thick food and squeeze hard, especially when the food is cold and therefore harder. Easy to clean with or without a dishwasher (have one now but didn’t for Baby #1) Both of these products have lasted through 2 exclusively-homemade fed babies.

Greater than one weekMy original review is below. I have changed my 3 star review to 5 stars because of the great customer service. They mailed me a new freezer tray that I am happy with. I also have ordered other products from this company like the suction plates that I am excited to try soon. Its nice to order from a company that really cares about their customers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ordered two of these- one blue and one green, but call me crazy it seems like the blue one is superior to the green one. I washed them both in the dishwasher like the instructions mentioned and the green one still has a faint smell to it after washing. The blue passed the pinch test and the green did not. Seems so weird that the exact same product would vary by color. I’m going to keep the blue and not use the green.

> 3 dayIt’s a really good product to freeze my baby food but on its first use I froze beef puree and the smell of beef never went away even after several different product being frozen, the smell never goes away. I don’t know if the smell will cause cross contamination with other products. I only hand wash it because the instructions said to use mild detergent as it could get odor from the detergent.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my granddaughter who is eating purées now. The portion size is about the size of a baby food jar. When frozen, you just push out the portion you want from behind and it pops right out. It doesn’t take long in a saucepan on the stove to defrost it. I prefer not to use the microwave for baby food, I love the silicone which makes for easy removal of the frozen portions and the lid for freezer storage.
