Wii Play with Wii Remote

We got the Wii Play for our 6 yr. old sons birthday. We also wanted a 2nd remote so this worked well. The kids have fun with all the games. For an adult, they arent as exciting as other Wii games but still fun. My favorites are the cow racing, the shooting range, laser hockey and fishing. Our least favorites are finding Mii and pose Mii. I like that these dont take as much time. Theyre great when you have just a little time to play and you dont want anything too intense. Overall a lot of fun!

I bought this during holidays season and the reason was to buy the controller. It was not possible to get it otherwise. So this is the whole idea for the bundle. As for the game itself - a collection of nine mini-games and there is nothing to write home about. My son switched back to Wii Sports after fifteen minutes of playing. We have never inserted the disk to the console since then.

I previously had a PS2. Going from that to the Wii, Im not impressed. I bought the Wii for more family play time. I cannot get the wife to play it. My son really likes it. He is 8. He likes several of the games on this disk. I couldnt care less about it. I cant wait until it gets warm outside again so we can go out and do stuff as a family.

As most have said they did, we purchased this pack for the controller, figuring that the included games would be worth the $10 extra. They were, but dont expect too much. We love the cow game (its named Charge!, but our family calls it Crocheted Cow). The other games have some playability issues. One example is the billiards game. We had a difficult time using the Wii-mote in the way that is required to play the game. If youre in the market for an extra controller, this could be a decent deal for you.

Fun game this is a real plus because you are getting two deals for the price of one. When I seen this game came with the Wii remote for just $10.00 more than the cost of the Wii remote I figured Id purchase this bundle because its like you are getting the game or the remote for free...some of the games are fun then others are kind of odd...I really like the duck hunt type of game it reminds me of the good old classic nintendo games.

If you need another remote, you may as well just pay a few extra bucks for this bundle. The games are OK, there are a few worth playing even after you have mastered them. You can always trade the game in at GameStop or some other place for more credit than the game costs, so we bought 3 to get up to 4 controllers, got $7 each for 2 of the games (+ a $10 bonus) and ended up with 3 controllers, the Wii Play game and a game we really liked. Hard to go wrong when it costs just a few dollars more than the remote itself. Sometimes you can even get it with free super saver shipping, which I dont see offered much for the remote alone...

We have so much fun with these little games -- just pick them up & enjoy! I am not very competitive, so I enjoy playing for fun, not to beat everyone else in the room! The race is amusing & the faster you go, the crazier the ride. I had to work at it a bit to get my score up, since the scarecrows pop up & skid away quickly I like the other games as well, and found I was pretty good at some of the shooting challenge... even though I have never done anything like that before. The ducks always surprise you... and are a bit tricky. The shape matching is a bit tricky - until your auto-reflexes kick in. Fishing -- Now over 2,000 pts and cruising~ Doesnt frustrate younger players, fun to pick up and play a few rounds, but if you are super competitive - move on.

BEST game to start off with. First you get the 2nd controller that really is necessary for more then 2 people. THEN you get this fantastic collection of games that teach you how to use your remotes in different ways. Master this and you are ready for the any of the other games, and they come to you easier in the controlling aspect because of this. Bought another copy for a friend that jsut got a Wii too. Would buy another one for next friend that gets Wii as well.

My kids LOVE this game bundle... so much that we have had to replace it a few times now because a little one has gotten ahold of it & played frisbee with it :(. I am NOT deducting stars for it, but BEWARE that the one we received did NOT have the bonus remote. That is a seller issue though & NOT a product issue, so not taking stars off for that. The seller did take care of the issue though. Just wanted to mention it for anybody else in case they really want the remote too.

I just got a Nintendo Wii that came with Wii Sports and needed another remote so I got this bundled product. I did some research before buying it and I found that in Japan it is actually called Introduction to Wii in Japan ([...], scroll down to the part where the interview is asking why they used the word training for Links Crossbow) so I knew exactly the quality of the game I was getting. This, I think, made it more fun because I wasnt expecting some wondrous game. I take it for what its worth and its a bunch of little games to show you how to use the remote. Thats it plain and simple. Most are pretty fun too!
