Wii Play with Wii Remote

> 3 dayWhile there are quite a number of games to play, not many are that great. The fun ones include Target Practice, Laser Hockey, and a strange version of 9 Ball. The scoring for 9 Ball is what makes it strange however the physics and the graphics are very realistic making it a fun game to play. Tank battle is OK however I was really disappointed to discover there is not an option to battle other players head-to-head. If they had added that it would be wonderful. The upside is that for the price of the controller and the games this is actually a pretty good value.

> 3 dayThis product is a bargain-priced game ($10) bundled with a not-so-bargain-priced WiiMote ($30). It is an excellent novelty for adults AND children, but the fun wears off after a few weeks of play. I gave this product a 4-star fun rating because though some of the games bombed, some of them are truly fun to play. The WiiMote that comes with the game worked fine for me, and came with batteries and a clear protective cover (unlike my first WiiMote.) Sometimes the connection with the game is a little patchy, but not very often. Now, for the 9 minigame overviews... SHOOTING RANGE- 7/10 Quick and fast-paced. The goal is to shoot ducks, targets, balloons, and UFOs. It becomes a little repetitive, with the targets going in nearly the same order every time, but other than that its a lot of fun. Slow players be wary! FIND MII- 5/10 A little slow, but still all right. The goal is to find the Miis with certain characteristics- look-alikes, sleepyheads, fastest Mii, etc. The modes of play are all pretty much the same, but the settings are varied. Its especially fun to play with someone else, but you need sharp eyes to win! POSE MII- 2/10 Boring and slightly confusing at first. The goal is to pose your Mii and insert it in little bubbles before they pop. The bubbles go faster and faster until youre eventually beaten, so theres no real winning on single player. I didnt really get this game. PING PONG- 6/10 Fast-paced, but can be confusing at times. The goal is to keep returning each others serves, but its much different from real Ping-Pong. In this you simply block the ball from flying off the table- no swinging serves, spinning, etc. Still, its interesting enough and has good replay value. LASER HOCKEY- 6/10 COOL sums it up pretty well. The laser effects are a great touch, and this game is a lot of fun with another person. Sometimes the puck is slow, however, and its frustrating when it gets stuck in the corners or right outside the goal. Quite realistic, though! CHARGE!- 7/10 Hilarious at first, but the fun does wear off after running on the same track every time. At first the concept of riding a cow, collecting scarecrows, and leaping over hurdles is enough to make you want to play over and over again, but once you get used to it the funs gone. PLAY WITH ANOTHER PLAYER! FISHING- 4/10 A little odd. The goal is to catch the fish that they want you to catch, but for players who havent mastered their Wii controls properly, its confusing and difficult. Its really nothing like fishing, because all of the fish fight to bite the hook. The graphics are interesting, though! BILLIARDS- 8/10 For pool/billiards fanatics (or even dabblers) this game is a dream come true. Its realistic and has fairy simple conrtrols. The only problem is that the mode of play (9-ball pool) cannot be changed. Good for people who are beginners or novices, too! TANKS- 9/10 HILARIOUS and a TON of fun! I personally like this game the best. You steer your little toy tank around a battlefield of bricks, shooting and bombing enemy tanks (the goal is to blow them up.) You get lives on single player, but on multiplayer (where you work as a team) you dont. The Nunchuk can be used if you are really intent on winning, but for casual gamers the D-pad should suffice. Overall, I think this game has something for everyone! Adults will like Billiards for sure, and kids will enjoy Charge!. If youre thinking about purchasing a new WiiMote, I suggest you get this bundle (its not really worth it alone.)

Greater than one weekFirst, dont let the overall rating for this game fool you. I admit that I am not a hardcore gamer, but I do like fun simple games. However, this game (or collection of games) is way too simple, in fact I feel as though I may have lost some of my IQ just playing this worthless game. I am ashamed to have this title in my game collection, what is worse is that I cant get rid of it unless I am prepared to lose at least half of what I paid for it! Virtually every game on this CD should be rated for age 6 and UNDER as not a single game even lives up to the game collection that comes with the Wii. The only reason I may keep this game is for the extra Wii remote since it would have cost me about what I paid for this game. In fact the only reason I rated this game with one star is because the rating system would allow for 0 or -10 stars. STEER CLEAR OF THIS GAME!! Anyone who tells you otherwise must either be high on crack or is trying to sell their copy.

> 3 dayLets RE-Lay out the facts. Wii Play costs about 5 bucks more than a Wii remote. The Wii Play remote does come with the soft rubber cover, so you are getting the same product. What the heck are some of these whiners expecting from the games for less than five bucks? It seems like theyre expecting them to perform like one of the high end game$$. I actually enjoy most if not all of these simplistic games and play them extensively with my 7 year old daughter. Yeah, theyre kinda cheesy. For five bucks, what do you expect?? If youve got a young kid or like a bit of cheesy entertainment, this package is a great value. If you are a real Gamer, just get the remote and spend the money on your more fancy game$. After some apprehension reading some of the negative reviews, I do not regret this purchase one bit.

> 3 dayIf you need to buy an extra remote, this is a good deal. Id recommend it for those who are new to the Wii. The games included are really good for learning how to use the remote and getting your hand-eye-pointer coordination down for the real games. Overall the games included are pretty simple and have no replay value other than trying to beat someone else score. In most cases I could see people playing through the 9 games a few times till they get bored of them, then putting the disk away for good.

Greater than one weekWe bought it because of the controller, so we cannot say anything yet about the games. We live out of the U.S., and it is cheaper like this no matter how you put it. The games included, if they are wonderful or not so wonderful, will be just fine, since we consider it a bonus! The controller is performing greatly.

> 3 dayThis was a great bundle. It came with a wii controller, which was awesome. My four year old needed his own controller. The games are cool for him to get use to and learn how to use the controller. I bought this used for 10.00 dollars, which makes me like it even more. Thanks for the purchase!

> 3 dayThe Wii Play games are difficult if you are not a typical younger gamer used to the controls. We played the Ping Pong with a 22 yr old and got killed. We are all 60+. We all laughed and applauded our skill and lack of, so the product is a success. The price with the control included was a real deal, and delivery was very quick indeed. I recommend the seller and the product.

> 3 dayBought this just for one reason - Wii Remote. Remote alone costs 39.99 and this item is 44.99 in amazon. So, $5 for the game (Wii play CD). The game is not good. May be for kids. For adults, it dont make no sense to buy. I would have rather bought Wii Remote + Motionplus bundle for the same price because Wii play (the CD that comes in this bundle) is sitting in the shelf from day 2 since I bought! So, people who need a Wii remote, please do yourself a favor and buy the Black Wii remote with Motion plus bundle (Motion plus sells $18 by itself) instead of buying Wii remote with Wii play bundle. Both these bundles cost the same in amazon. With Motionplus, u can play tennis, golf and other games with more realism and more fun...

> 3 dayWe purchased a WII system this Christmas and I decided to buy this title because it included a WII remote. That is I believe the biggest thing that it has going for it as the games under this title appears to be aimed at teaching and giving you practice at using the WII remote. That said my son has spent many hours so far playing the various games which include a shooter game, table tennis, pool, WII character (MII) find game where you have to pick the matching or missing character from a group, electronic hockey, fishing game, and tank battle game. I should mention that the title supports 1 or 2 player modes( at least with 2 controllers).
