This board rules. I upgraded to this from a Viper shot king. While the shot king is a great board for people looking to enter the steel top dart world, the Winmau board is for when you get serious. Colors are brighter, holes are a little less noticeable, and the razor thin wiring is insane. To this date, my friends.amd I have probably thrown somewhere in the range of 1000 darts and have yet to have a bounce out. Incredible.

Won’t make you throw better, but will make you land better. I have not had a bounce out since buying this board.

This is an excellent quality board. Im not a pro, but this board performs better than anything else Ive ever experienced. First of all, it is heavy, really heavy. There was no skimping on materials here. The weight does not cause mounting issues because the mounting system is solid and easily supports the weight. I did replace the bolts with longer ones from the hardware store since I was going through a half inch piece of plywood. Steel darts go right and come right out. Not like the dingy boards at the local pubs where you have to put one hand on the board to stop the dart from pulling the board. They go in smooth, even with a weak throw, and come out easily with one hand. The inner wires are very thin and, after a month of playing, Ive yet to hit one. I have a feeling this board will last me a decade or more. Couldnt have asked for anything more.

So far this is one tough board. Decent healing characteristics with very few bounce outs.. Solid adjustable mounting system allowing perfect leveling on even or uneven surfaces. Bright, brilliant coloring with nice graphics. Strong steel bright white easy to see number ring. We are impressed with the quality and presentation of this board.

Blade 5 is a beautiful DB. Pleasing to the eye. Mounted it on smooth quality plywood as its background foundation and bought 4 sets of quality 22g steel tip darts. DB is made of very high quality material. Withstands the hardest throws easily without damage or notice. Craftsmanship seems flawless. It receives many compliments and zero criticism in the 2mos we have been playing. We purchased an app online for 1.99 and the app compliments the DB perfectly for hours of fun without calculating scores. BLADE 5 IS FLAWLESS & TRULY OUTSTANDING, ENJOY!

Great board, build a cabinet and put this dart board in it, super easy to mount, and with the adjustment pegs it keeps it held tight to the back

Likes: • Feels heavy and durable. • Bright colors. • No bounce-outs. • Booklet has useful info. Dislikes: • Because board is heavy, need to hang on sturdy wall. • Confused if needed leaf springs as shown in booklet; after some research they werent required because of Triple Wheel lock system

We purchased this Winmau Blade 5 Bristle dartboard as a Christmas gift for our teenage son to replace a soft tip dartboard he previously bought. He really likes it this Winmau dartboard. As a project, he built a back board for it to protect his wall (with a little help from Dad). See photo. The price on this dartboard fluctuates quite a bit, so be sure to watch for a deal. We happened to get an excellent price on it.

Since Amazon doesnt allow for replies to product questions responses, we have to deal with it this way . . . In response to https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/Tx2Y57QN2YJR7ZK?_encoding=UTF8&sort=helpful&ref_=pe_623860_70668520_ans_notf_saa_aas Mate4: Im using 21g tungsten darts that are regularly sharpened . . . Ive been playing darts since 1985, and I am well versed on the game. Manufacturer: I have two of your bristle boards that were purchased many years ago, and they have held up very well. When I built the pub that has this Blade 5 hanging, I was excited to have the thinner blade type wire. However, the tip of the dart is now bottoming out at 3/16 into the Double Bull . . . it feels as though the is wood when a dart is pushed in by hand. Unfortunately, there is a lot of Cricket played in our pub, and the Bull is an important part of the game, and it bounces out when a player hits the Double Bul. What are your suggestions?

Was looking for a new dartboard for the family room, and actually took a bit of time and did some research before purchasing, and I could not be happier. The board was in perfect shape upon arrival (no discolorations, holes, etc.) and set-up via the mount and Winmau lock system was a breeze. Have thrown at this a few thousand times already and holes seem to close right back up. The Spider seems firmly attached and the thickness of the wires is spot on in eliminating bounce backs.
