> 3 dayI love everything about this board! The quality was so obvious right out of the box, but when I threw my first dart at it, the difference was absolutely remarkable. I could just feel and hear the difference this board makes instantly! I am just learning to throw darts, but my game increased substantially just by using this board. I read all the hype about it, but wasnt sure I was ready to spend this much on one, and I am so happy I went for it. The difference in this board and the one I had dont compare to the cost difference. You wont be disappointed for a second if you get this one. So, if this is something that youve been considering but unsure about, please just get it. I got mine slightly cheaper by finding an open box one on Amazon Warehouse. It was just like new.

> 3 dayWe’ve played on Blade 4’s for a number of years, and it came time for my husband and I to invest in our own board. Read about the new Blade 5, and thought, why not. This is the Blade 4, only better. The new wiring allows for ALL darts to land, and stick. The wires are much thinner than previous boards and we have not had a dart bounce out. Also, the new Rota-Lock system helps mount the board perfectly. We’re also able to adjust the board while it’s on the wall, without removing it. This is a next generation board, and it stands at the top of anything Winmau has created over the years. We love our Blade 5!

Greater than one weekThe Blade 5 is an awesome board for the most part BUT at least for me, hasnt held up too well. Im starting to get a lot of bounce outs and even fall outs from any darts that dont enter really solidly. Like when you might not be in top form and your dart comes in at less than full speed and totally straight on etc. It feels like the back layer of sisal has gotten really hard, maybe about 1/4 deep or less from the surface. This pic shows the wear from 6 months of pretty heavy quarantine use...Id say an hour a day averaged out over that time. I was pretty careful with it too in regards to keeping my points burr free. At the end of the day, I think Id only recommend this to you if you told me that you were a casual/infrequent shooter that would keep it a very climate controlled environment (as I sometimes wonder if the salty air where I live has been a factor)? Im gonna try the Dual Core version of this board when I replace it (which will be any day now as Im getting frustrated with the whole thing).

> 3 dayWell built product. Heavy, sturdy, and beautiful. I cant speak about other negative reviews, from my experience, can honestly say only great things about this product. Dont know where it was made, but it was, made well.

> 3 dayI debated for a while, if I really wanted to spend the money to buy this dart board, and replace my generic board that came with my cabinet. During the holidays, I caught it for 40 bucks, and just couldnt say no. Once I got it, I immediately noticed a difference. The wire is far more thin than I expected, and more importantly, no staples in the bullseye rings. I threw one dart, and in that one throw, knew the difference. The sound it made, how far it penetrated. It was definitely different. With the old board, I found myself trying to throw harder than normal, to avoid bounce outs, which happened in the bull area often. With this board, its buttery smooth. I can softly throw a dart, and it still penetrates 3/4 of an inch. You would think that one dart board would be the same as all the others, but I assure you, that isnt the case. Now I know, and the difference is astounding. If you are contemplating buying this, stop it. Just buy it. It will be the best purchase you make in a long time, and you will know it from the very first dart.

> 3 dayIve always admired the Winmau Blade 5 board at any pub that I have thrown at. Decided to treat myself to a new set-up at home with this great board as well as the Viper Defender square that protects the wall around the board. Was super easy to install an mount, and we were throwing in no time! Excellent purchase and delivery was prompt!

Greater than one weekNot sure about any of these negative reviews. This is the best board Ive ever owned or used. Ive only had it less than a week but its had over 1,500 darts thrown at it since the family has been stuck in the house because of this Covid crap. Not a single bounce out and so far the quality looks like this board will last.

> 3 dayI have owned several blade 4s but decided to upgrade to the 5. got it today, pulled it out of the box to set it up and found that the board doesnt have the predrilled holes for the mounting feet. its not a huge problem i still have the old feet from my other boards but this is one of the reasons i went with the blade 5 over the 4. otherwise in good shape but the ring for the double bull is also not pressed properly into the board, its sticking out on one side, Ill try and knock it even with a hammer.

Greater than one weekVery nice board. Darts are retained very well with no pop outs. It is well worth the few extra $$ over a cheap board.
