> 3 dayWas looking for a new dartboard for the family room, and actually took a bit of time and did some research before purchasing, and I could not be happier. The board was in perfect shape upon arrival (no discolorations, holes, etc.) and set-up via the mount and Winmau lock system was a breeze. Have thrown at this a few thousand times already and holes seem to close right back up. The Spider seems firmly attached and the thickness of the wires is spot on in eliminating bounce backs.

> 3 dayBought this to replace a board I bought in the 70’s. It was still good but had wires like piano strings. What a difference in the bounce outs. Plus I’m saving on the amount of bent aluminum shafts lost to concrete floors. Haven’t experienced any tufts of sisal popping out that others have complained about, but I’ve only had this for a few months. So far, so good.

> 3 dayWe purchased this Winmau Blade 5 Bristle dartboard as a Christmas gift for our teenage son to replace a soft tip dartboard he previously bought. He really likes it this Winmau dartboard. As a project, he built a back board for it to protect his wall (with a little help from Dad). See photo. The price on this dartboard fluctuates quite a bit, so be sure to watch for a deal. We happened to get an excellent price on it.

18-11-2024Excellent board. Top quality, with mounting hardware to sit vertically on any surface. Easy to rotate on the center mount, then move then number ring to get even wear.

> 3 day2nd time getting a blade 5 from Amazon because of the shipping cost being free compared to $12+(usd) almost everywhere else. The board itself is great. The box came damaged heavily, but didnt effect the board itself. All mounting brackets and screws were still contained in the box. The durability of the blade 5 depends on your amount of activity on it. I practice 1-2 hours per day and some days I play multiple online league matches and I get a good 9 months to a year out of my board before I feel the need to replace it. That is with regular rotation of the board as well. I usually rotate the board once a week, sometimes 2 depending on how many hours I put in. This time I purchased the basic model, but previously had the dual-core and there is noticeable difference between the 2 for me. The dual core feels as if it grabs your dart point when it hits the board compared to my dart feeling like it is just sitting on some bristle and could jar loose at any point with the basic between. Hope I was able to help with your decisions. Next order I will try the new blade 6 model and leave feedback accordingly.

> 3 dayMy son was happy with this gift. However I thought that it came with at least a few darts but found they need to be ordered separately. It spoiled the surprise somewhat because it couldnt be immediately be used.

19-11-2024I’ve been using the blade 5 for some time now. Decided to order one for our team through Amazon even though some reviews were mixed. The price was $15 cheaper than the dart website I use and Amazon’s return process is one of the easiest so I went this route. Great board and will be coming back for my next one

21-11-2024I upgraded from an old Viper board. I looked at the Unicorn Eclipse Pro after playing on one, but the reviews were not very encouraging. The Winmau Blade 4 has excellent reviews and the 5 is an advanced version so i figured i couldnt go wrong. This board is fantastic. Besides the increased playing area with the 60 degree wire and the resulting decrease in bounce outs, the center mounting makes rotating the board a breeze an the levelling feet make sure you have a nice tight fit to the wall. I put nearly 500 darts in this board the first day I mounted it and had 0 bounce outs.

Greater than one weekThe product rarely allows bounce outs. It mounts like most standard boards and looks clean. It is an upgrade from cheaper boards for sure.
