Winmau Blade 5 and Blade 6 Bristle Dartboards

I’ve been using the blade 5 for some time now. Decided to order one for our team through Amazon even though some reviews were mixed. The price was $15 cheaper than the dart website I use and Amazon’s return process is one of the easiest so I went this route. Great board and will be coming back for my next one

Really like the blade design. The thin blades keep the darts in the dartboard instead of on the floor on close to the line throws. Like the rotational ability of the scoring ring so the board doesnt wear out on popular scoring zones 20, 19 etc.

Some prior reviews were rubbish. This board is a HUGE step up if you just want actual dart throws to count as thrown. I have played a lot on new board and not one single pop-out or bump-out dart. It is so very much better than average board Packaging was GREAT and had a dart board box within an exterior box. The upgrade was huge and I had a decent board. Get this and you will be glad. Problen is that you cant blame the board any more!!!!

Ive put a thousand darts in the board over the weekend and it still looks beautiful, no major nicks in the spider and the board is still smooth and flat. The holes heal up easily, the RotaLock system works flawlessly. All mounting hardware is included along with general instructions for board and oche placement. As a casual player looking to get back into the sport, I am very happy with this board. After reading a ton of reviews and tearing up a $20 board in about 3 weeks I decided to give this one a try. I just recently got into darts but I wanted to try a better board. This one did not disappoint. The feel of this board right out of the box gave me the immediate impression it was high quality. After hanging it with the super easy to install hardware and throwing the first dart I knew I made a good decision. Probably have played 40 games of cricket on it so far and you can hardly tell it’s been used. What a great board. Even the sound that the board makes when it’s impacted by a dart makes you know it’s better than a cheaper board. Bounce outs are really not present unless you hit another dart. The wires are super thin and not having the staples like the first one I bought got rid of virtually all of the bounce out problems I was having. It’s so easy to rotate the board which I have been doing after about 20 games. The number ring just pops right off and you rotate the board by turning it and you pop the ring right back on. Easy as pie. I don’t regret my purchase and when I redeploy back to America I’m going to buy this exact board for my house. Don’t hesitate it’s worth every penny and should last a long time.

This board arrived well packaged in the original carton. The installation was easy (read the directions first) and the unique foot system allows you to get it positioned solidly on the wall to prevent wobbling. The board material is solid and well made, with small wires that provide minimal chance to divert darts. The darts stick well and the board was well painted and looks fantastic. Were very happy with it.

I really dont know what to look for in a dartboard other than 1) does it mount on the wall easily, 2) does it stay on the wall, 3) do darts go in, 4) can you read the score, and 5) do the darts come out undamaged. The answer is YES to all! MOUNTING - much easier than it may look as you just hang it and then use three turn dials to create pressure against the wall and the dartboard so the dartboard does not shift or move when playing. Pretty easy and looks professionally installed. STAYS ON WALL - weve used it quite a bit, and it has not shifted or moved at all. It has stayed perfectly in place. DARTS GO IN SMOOTH - No issues with darts on this board. They go in smooth and very limited bounces off of the wires because the wires are tapered to help the dart go into the board as opposed to bounce off. This is nice to protect my tile floor! SCORE READING IS GOOD, NOT PERFECT - the numbers are made in a wire which, as a novice, I do not have locations memorized. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell some numbers and it may make you pause to think. But its fine and manageable. DARTS COME OUT WITHOUT DAMAGE - while there appears to be some limited memory in the dartboard with some holes, overall they either fill back in or they just shrink a little. No real damage to the board and it seems to be holding up just fine. The darts are also not damaged and no issues with them dulling or bending. Overall, a solid board that you cant go wrong with!

Very few bounce outs - nice board. For the money its a great board.
