Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache, 14 ml (0.47oz) tube, Permanent White

How do you rate this? it is a standard classic good white gouache... if you need a quality white this is it :)

Fabulous color!!

Worked like it should, it’s pretty smooth and my professor recommends us to buy it. I used it for 3 projects by mixing with others colors and it did the job!

The tube was not inside the small plastic bag it was loose inside a bag with a journal. Pink paint smeared all over. It looked like it was cut or ripped out of the small bag it should have been in.

I like the product but the picture shown is a larger size of the tube of paint sold.

I ordered several tubes of paint, all fine except the orange which was indented, sticky with traces of paint in it!!

High quality and worth the price

It’s the same price as the store unless you use a Michael’s 40% off coupon which I have done many times and you get a bigger tube. I have also bought cheap watercolor sets just for the white. Not all whites are made equal and you get what you pay for- a little goes a long way with this tube.

Was used, previously opened

Not a painter, I wanted this for a white splatter effect on backgrounds for handcrafted cards. To resemble snow, stars or just a textured effect. It is very easy to use, is a lovely white and would probably be great for other painterly uses I may consider in the future.
