> 3 dayI thought I was buying the bigger tube. I don’t think in “ml” so I didn’t pay attention. Just posting for those of you who didn’t notice the size like I did. By the way, Permanent white is the same as Titanium white but just a different name. Zinc white is more transparent than Titanium/Permanent.

Greater than one weekThis product was a joy to use, it mixed easily with other compounds to create a color I wanted to use. It made learning in the workshop particularly flawless (flow well, really needed the gouache to flow and it did exactly that). Planning to buy more colors to experiment.

> 3 dayI use only high quality products that are non-toxic but this which claimed to be must contain a toxin in it’s process that is unnamed. I had an allergic reaction to using it in my studio. Also, the paint is runny compared to other high quality brands and not a quality product I would ever use again on my artwork. If you have allergies, please beware.

> 3 dayI bought this white gouache to use with my inexpensive gouache set. Mixing white with the other colors make them look better and theres never enough white in a set of gouache. This one tube is expensive but its Winsor and Newton (high quality) and will compliment my inexpensive gouache paints that I use.

> 3 dayThe gouache by Winsor and Newton is amazing. It can be used alone but I mostly use it in combination with watercolors for areas of my paintings that I want to be solid color and for backgrounds. Sometimes I add a dab here and there to finished watercolors for just a touch of extra vibrant color. The permanent white is a great, bright white for highlights. They are quite expensive, perhaps purchase just one or two colors to start and add to your collection over time. You can use white gouache and add regular watercolor paint to it to give it color, which is useful and economic. I am attaching some pictures of my paintings where I incorporated gouache. Sometimes the paint can look patchy if you don’t apply it in a thin enough layer. You can see that effect in the ladybug image. To get as even a background as possible I like to do 2-3 thinned down layers of gouache. It makes a smooth, non reflective background and in black it’s almost like velvet. I highly recommend these quality gouache paints!
