> 3 dayIve been hammocking for over a decade now, and Ive owned all kinds of hammocks from Enos to noname hammocks from Walmart, and theres a surprising wide variety of quality between them. Now the good, This hammock is a very nice quality. The fabric is light and smooth, and the stitching is really solid. It seems like a very well constructed hammock, 9 feet long (the same as an Eno) and has a nice bit of nylon webbing in place of rope, and it seems very solid. I think that these little details will keep the hammock going for years, and years. The downsides are you get what you pay for. The straps, while its good they came with the hammock, are pretty lackluster. Theyre very skinny and do not have as many attachment points as some nicer straps. Theyre perfectly fine if youre a casual hammocker, or youre looking to get into it and see if its right for you, but a nicer pair of straps are worth it. Castaway is a hammock brand Ive purchased at Sams Club, and not only did they include rather nice straps, but the stuff sack had a separate compartment built in for the straps. The Carabiners are nice, black anodized, but I prefer the wire ones, as theyre lighter and packer easier. The color selection is nice, but Id really like to see some novel patterns. Tie Dye or maybe some geometric patterns to really make you stand out in a park or a festival would be so fun. In closing, a good average hammock that has everything you need to get started.

Greater than one weekI loved it so much that I had it exchanged for another one instead of going to another brand. I am really hoping it does not rip like the first one. maybe it was a rare occurrence? I will update this review when I get the new one in the mail.

Greater than one weekNice material and looks like it will hold up some big folks in my house. Bought a cotton one from Amazon and it went right back and this one stayed. Dries fast when wet which is a plus

> 3 dayId had my hammock for a year when randomly the connected bag tore a hole at the seam to the hammock. I wrote Wise Owls customer service department asking if that small hole could become a major problem and if they recommended a way to repair it if so. Instead they sent me a whole new hammock kit and wow Im just impressed by their handling of the situation. I know these have a lifetime warranty but still there were no hoops to jump through and it was just really nice. Thank you Wise Owl, I loved my hammock before but now I definitely love you too.

> 3 dayI have bought 8 of these!!! So easy to hang my kids 10 and under can all do it without assistance. They are well made and impressive in every way! I am not an easy one to impress… they hang them on porch posts barn posts trees with ease. No slipping and I feel very secure and safe speaking for my whole family! Plus they store and travel so well! I would recommend for anyone with a pulse!

> 3 dayI am a big dude and this hammock made some high weight claims. It totally stands up to the challenge. Not only will it comfortably hold me, my 3 year old twins often jump in with me. Great product !

> 3 dayComfortable and easy to put up but only complaint is the material doesn’t breathe as well as a mesh would. But this material is comfortable. So it’s a toss up for what you’re looking for.
