> 3 dayThis works great for both 2D and 3D needle felting projects. It fits in my lap comfortably, & I have yet to be poked by a needle getting all the way through. It also works well for keeping spare needles by sticking them in the side. I’m going to get a smaller one for a smaller workspace I use as well.

06-06-2025Ive worn out 2 foam pads. Several felting artists use wool pads to felt on. I was going to make one, but I would rather spend my time on needle felting sculptures. I like that it is nice and thick. Can clean up stray fibers with lint tape roll. This seems like it will last for many years.

Its a large size that sits comfortably in my lap. It was fun to try my hand at felting while I relaxed on my couch and watched tv. Greater than one weekI’m just a beginner at needle felting. After reading various reviews on your product versus a foam pad for felting, the general consensus was the wool pad was easier to felt on. Absolutely true. This pad is the perfect size and makes felting (especially for a beginner), easy. Very excellent product by my standards.
