I had been needle felting on top of the foam blocks for awhile and needed to find a more durable needle felting surface. Woolbuddy comes to the rescue! It is a fabulous surface to felt on. Not too firm and not too soft. This size is perfect too! Gives me plenty of room to work without being too cumbersome or in the way. I highly recommend the Woolbuddy!!!

I like the size and thickness of the Woolbuddy. Its easier to handle than the foam blocks and I like that Im not having to pick bits of foam out of my work!

My husband and I are both new to needle felting. Previously, we had been using plastic foam pads and were getting tired of the wool sticking to it and the quick indents into the foam. So, we upgraded to these pads. We were so happy with the larger size that we ordered a small one—just to hold our needles. Besides loving the naturalness of them (instead of plastic), we have found them easier to needle felt on. That is not to say that some wool doesnt still stick to the pad. It does—just not as much and after each session, I pull off what is left there in order to have it ready to go for the next time I felt. I highly recommend the pads.

Was hastating about getting it didnt know what one would be best to use . Glade I got this one . I got the larger one . The hole thing is wool inside and out seen it on YouTube someone cut it in half . You can also make your one if you like . I figured it would be higher to make then buy one .

This is so much better than the foam.

This large felting pad is the best tool I have for needle felting! The pad is thick and dense enough to hold its shape and allows me to put it on my lap while I work. I highly recommend this pad.

I love this felting pad. I am a beginner and wouldnt know much different. I had a foam pad that I could not do much with. This works much better and fits perfectly in my lap. Its the perfect size for what I want to create.
