I bought these to give heat in my civered front porch for some stray kittens. I plugged them into a plug that has them cime on @ 38° and off @ 55°. They now have a place to avoid our below freezing weather.

I purchased as supplement/backup to a 250w heat lamp for my small flock of 14 chicks. For chicks in first week or two the 100w black ceramic lamp would have to be kinda close to be effective but as they grow into 3rd week it is increasingly useful.

Works great for our bearded dragon. Fit a heat lamp we already had.

I was skeptical that these would work for me. I have 5 outdoor cats that I have built a small hut for them on our large covered deck to keep warm during the winter months. I used to use standard heat lamps but they were so bright and got way hotter than needed, as well as burned out a couple of times a season. I installed one for the approximately 8 Sq. Ft. box/hut. It worked perfectly all winter. Not too hot and not too cold for my kitties. They were very happy and so was I when they all come running out when I cam out to see them and feed the. I even caught the neighbors cat sleeping with them when it got pretty cold LOL. I used a thermostat outside of the box to control when it comes on and goes off, set for about 40 degrees.

I enjoy using CHEs but in this two pack one gave out after i used it for around 36 hours which is a little frustrating, the second one has been working really well though

Great price and they look and seem to work well, but the first bulb burnt out after 3 weeks. Well see how the second does.

Only worked for a month

Very short life. Save your money.

The bulbs work as designed. It’s too early to review their longevity.
