> 3 dayFirst time Ive ever used night heat lamps and they work great. Heat output is pretty decent for my 40 gallon wide lizard enclosure. Very happy with it

Greater than one weekPurchased for a 20 gallon terrarium housing my kids adult box turtle. Generates heat appropriately without light. Recommend and will buy again when needed.

> 3 dayI am surprised at how little heat is produced for the 100 watt bulb and think I should have gotten the more powerful bulbs. The nice thing about these compared to the infrared bulbs I normally use is that there is no light so the chicks can have a normal sleep cycle when it gets dark. I had to really place this bulb closer to the chicks though and the temperature just doesn’t cover the same area as the other type of bulb.

> 3 dayOnly one of the two bulbs worked at all. The one that did gave only modest heat output. Returning both.

Greater than one weekDid not heat. The temperature placed in front of the bulb only went up 3 degrees over a 12 hour period. Total waste of money. Will NOT work for baby chicks.
