> 3 dayDid not heat. The temperature placed in front of the bulb only went up 3 degrees over a 12 hour period. Total waste of money. Will NOT work for baby chicks.

> 3 dayI am surprised at how little heat is produced for the 100 watt bulb and think I should have gotten the more powerful bulbs. The nice thing about these compared to the infrared bulbs I normally use is that there is no light so the chicks can have a normal sleep cycle when it gets dark. I had to really place this bulb closer to the chicks though and the temperature just doesn’t cover the same area as the other type of bulb.

> 3 dayI’ve had these bulbs in use for less than 10 days and one is already burnt out leaving my python in the cold. Luckily she has a heat mat as well. 10,000-15,000 hours?! Yeah right. What a waste of time and money.
