Both of my bulbs arrived non-functional

I bought these for my bearded dragons tank instead of using ordinary heat lamps and they were great! They work better than the regular light lamps. I also use it outside for my outdoor cat in the winter to keep her warm and she loves it!

They all worked, better quality than some you find

These are terrible, one stopped working after only 3 months of use. That was using it on a brand new dimmer heat lamp AND on a new thermostat! The metal part got very discolored in a short amount of time, as you can see in the picture (gold colored one is new, weird colored one used for 3 months). I dont trust these at all.

Not only does t put out nice, warm heat with no light, but I dropped the bulb and lamp, by mistake, into the turtle pond and the bulb hissed, made some steam and it all still worked afterwards. I couldn’t believe it. I was sure I had electrocuted my turtle.

The bulbs work as designed. It’s too early to review their longevity.

Makes good heat. Well see how long it lasts.

These things work really well, I think Ive gone through about 6 now though. This is the first time that I have experienced a complete short in the lamp. It blew my breaker thankfully but I do not understand why something designed to output heat would have so much solder on the contacts. Just something to note. I think Ill still be buying them though.
