> 3 dayThese worked out great for our vacation. Also works great for helping my baby sleep. This way I dont get up and make noise. Apps is easy to use so I can turn off the light in the click of a button!

> 3 dayThe only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 was the fact it cannot connect to 5GHz Wireless networks. I know it states clear as day that its a 2.4GHz WiFi Smart Plug, but its 2022 and most products with WiFi capabilities should connect to 5GHz networks. The Smart Plug works as it should. You can power on any appliance or electronic device from anywhere you can get an internet connection. So far so good. I will be sure to add more after I do some thorough testing.

> 3 dayWe have quite a few Wyze cams and when we recently needed a smart plug, we opted for these. They work well and have a nice scheduling feature. We run lamps and use them to remote restart network connection equipment at an offsite facility. The biggest problem is they are near impossible to update consistently. Weve had this issue with other Wyze devices too. If they are at one location with Spectrum internet NONE will ever update. No matter what you do. Bring them to the main location, reset them, attach to AT&T Fiber here, and they update. Take them to a different location with Spectrum and they also work. Take them to another and nope. So, weve had to constantly take all devices needing updates to specific locations to update. PAINFUL.

Greater than one weekGreat price. Great functionality. Get one today! Easy to setup and use. You can use the app to create routines to schedule outlet on/off, etc. Also can trigger the outlet on from other Wyze sensor devices, etc. We have several of these and they have consistently worked great.

> 3 dayThese Wyze plugs are unreliable rubbish. Dont waste your time. When you actually use them to turn on and off a light, within a week or less of use turning on a small table lamp with an LED bulb, I have had all 4 plugs fail that I purchased. That is an amazing 100% failure rate within 1 week! One of the 4 plugs could never update the firmware and never operated. The other 3 initialized and worked great for a few days. Here is the failure pattern, after they appear to work great on day 1: First there is latency in the plug turning on/off when controlled with the app. Then it sometimes would not respond at all to the on/off control of the app. Then the plug lost its ability to connect to the network. (Mind you, the network never moved and it was fine when the plug was set up and operated for a few days.) After it lost the ability to connect, it tried for hours to connect to the network, blinking a blue light. The device then got warm. This failure process could happen within 24 hours, or within a few days. No power on/off or factory resets or anything revived it. Wyze tech support had no useful information. Lets face it - who needs a plug with this bad of reliability? You need these things to work reliable when you are not home babysitting/plugsitting them! Wyze has clearly put in very low-cost communications circuitry that fails. In contrast, we have 7 Wyze cameras that are working *so far*. They are outside and are connected to the identical network that the plugs could not connect to, even they are much farther away. Wyze must put very cheap circuitry in their plugs and better circuitry in their cams. I was going to buy their switch, but I fear that they have the same terrible technology as the plug. We also own some WEMO plugs. They perform far better, and we will go back to that manufacturer. The WEMO software is awful, but at least the hardware works. The Wyze hardware has a stunning failure rate.

> 3 daySome of these are connected to devices so I can have small space heaters turn on/off by a schedule.. and others just give me a way to restart a device that maybe 60 miles away. Also had one on my coffee pot, so it would automatically turn off if I forgot, by gps location in Alexa.. Good way to make non smart devices better on the electric bill, or give you some peace of mind that you may have forgot t whatever small appliances on.. I can always double check from the app if that silly coffee mark was left on or not.

> 3 dayI was in a car wreck and I have trouble getting around so if my floor lamp is behind a piece of furniture I cant get to it easily to turn it off and on and these work perfect. I have several around the house for lights and even one with a fan and they work with my Amazon echo which is so convenient.

> 3 dayI bought some Leviton smart outlet plugs and bought these as well. I used these during the Christmas season. Wreathes, Trees, Christmas Villages, Garland, etc. Integrate well with Alexa. Alexa: Turn on Christmas lights. The Wyze app works well to turn them all on/off at once or individually (by name.) Of course Alexa will do that too. But-what I noticed was a wifi reliability issue. One or more plug would drop or lose wifi connectivity. What a pain. Lights would stay on when they were scheduled to turn off. Or they wouldnt turn on. I would have to reprogram them. Just a headache. Not sure if there will be a firmware update to address these issues. That would be great. As far as recommending these plugs - Ill say this, dont expect a perfect, trouble-free relationship. Just know that going in.

> 3 dayLove WYZE cams but these plugs have issues. I’ve had trouble re- synchronizing them. Not sure why they fail or lose connection . I’ve bought 2 2pks and only two are working today. I’m 900 miles away so very frustrating.

> 3 dayI have bought WYZE equipment previously and found it great. So I bought 3 color lightbulbs and 2 plugs. Of the plugs, the first failed totally. The second said it had to be updated - so I clicked update firmware - and it failed. This went on for 8 tries. I finally contacted customer support and they led me through a series of complicated steps that finally got it to work. Took about 2 hours. I went on the web and this seems to be a recurrent problem since August 2022 with no prospect of a fix. It is dumb to sell something that immediately has to be updated and cant be updated. Of the 3color lightbulbs. One updated sucessfully (hooray), one failed, and I finally got the 3rd to run, but I still cant get the firmware to update so I am stuck with obsolete firmware. So of 5 items, 2 are working, 1 sort of works, and 2 are in the tech recycling bin. And I wont ever buy WYZE again. I give it 2 stars because 2/5 actually work well.
