> 3 dayThe Amazon Alexa designation of Certified for Humans (CfH) is very important -- but this item does NOT meet the CfH standard and the CfH designation should be removed from the product description! CfH is great for two reasons: -- electric items that truly have this designation are (very) easy to add-on to Alexa via a 3-step process with no requirement to add a new app. But, perhaps more important, the architecture of CfH is simple, making for better performance and easier maintenance. If your intent is to use an item with Alexa, get a smart plug with CfH. With CfH the smart plug talks directly to the Alexa Echo. Without CfH an item must be registered to its own app -- in this case you have to install the Wyse App, create an account, install and test the plug with Wyse, and then bind the Wyse smart plug to your Alexa account. Later, when you use Alexa to Turn on the Plug -- the command must go to Alexa, then to the Wyse Cloud, then back to Alexa, and (finally) the command is sent to your plug. Not only does this add a delay to the execution of the command, but it also creates dependencies, and opportunities for failures. And, in the future, if you move or get a new modem or router, it will be much harder to re-configure a non-CfH smart Plug.

> 3 dayIt seems like every other day I have to go in and re-add one of these plugs to the app/network because it says its not available. Its not difficult to do, but if multiple go out at once, its difficult to see which one youre reconnecting to unless youre watching the flashing light patterns on each of them while going through the setup. Its just annoying to have to do this on a regular basis. When they do drop off, they still retain their schedule, so your lights will still turn on and off per the set schedule, but you lose the ability to manually turn them on/off with the app or with a connected assistant (google and alexa). Then, once you reconnect to them, if you dont do it the right way you lose the schedule for that plug and have to re-program that to get it to turn on/off automatically. Theyre easy to setup, configure, and manual button works fine if you can reach where these are plugged in. Firmware needed to fix the stability and reconnection on its own. My KASA plugs seem to not have this issue, whats so different in these?

> 3 dayLove WYZE cams but these plugs have issues. I’ve had trouble re- synchronizing them. Not sure why they fail or lose connection . I’ve bought 2 2pks and only two are working today. I’m 900 miles away so very frustrating.

> 3 dayI ordered and received 3 wyze plugs. I have the most current version of their Android app on my Samsung S8+ which is also updated. I tried to connect to them near my router, excellent signal strength. First one spent an hour rebooting WiFi & router (as suggested), resetting to factory default, power cycle, ad nauseam. It took several minutes to change from slow blinking light to fast blinking pairing mode. It would get to a page showing my network name and password, that it read from somewhere cuz I didnt enter them, then try to connect and then tell me to re enter my password that I didnt enter. It was able to read it and show it to me. But nonetheless I entered my 16 char password. Then endlessly waiting to connect. Found several try this and check that pages, including Wyze suggestions, but didnt help. An hour of this was enough. Second one: plugged in it went to pairing mode fairly quickly paired and connected in minutes. Then it said there was an update, which failed 5 times, but at least its listed in my wyze app and I got a message its connected to my Alexa. So I can use it, i just cant update it. Third, same as first. Same BS restarting router & WiFi etc etc but nothing. Another hour wasted. So what we know is nothing wrong with my router or WiFi, cuz 2nd one connected fine. The problem is therefore with the 2 bad plugs. Summsry: 2 out of 3 failed out of the box, and 3rd did connect but update fails on it. Whoever does Quality Assurance at wyze shouldnt even get a lump of coal! There is no indication what its stuck on, no indication of progress, nothing. Just wait several minutes and get Failed, try again or re-enter your password, which also does not help. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN WYZE PLUG & WITH WYZE OVERALL after this experience. Ill be returning the 2 bad ones, and probably the one that cant update. UPDATE: I moved the one that once worked to a different outlet, even closer to my WiFi, but it too now refuses to connect so Im returning all 3 of these failed outlets.

> 3 dayWork great, does what it says. I use this for my wyze cam v3 which from time to time freezes and needs power cycling. So I just remotely turn the wyze plug off and then on rather than unplugging the camera.

> 3 dayTried these because they are about half the price of most competing smart timers. They work most of the time. The app is clunky and not intuitive. Firmware updates quickly upon initialization and the app finds the devices well (more than can be said of some smart home products) but it sometimes fails to turn on or off. And when I try to manually turn on or off a device, it won’t let me. Instead, the digital slider button will flip and then immediately flip back. But I have continued to order and use them on my house plant lights because they don’t tick like manual timers, cost just the same and work *most* of the time.

> 3 dayThese worked out great for our vacation. Also works great for helping my baby sleep. This way I dont get up and make noise. Apps is easy to use so I can turn off the light in the click of a button!

> 3 dayI was in a car wreck and I have trouble getting around so if my floor lamp is behind a piece of furniture I cant get to it easily to turn it off and on and these work perfect. I have several around the house for lights and even one with a fan and they work with my Amazon echo which is so convenient.

> 3 dayI’ve purchased a number of these plugs and I love them. The last purchase I ordered a double pack. I used the first one and it was great. I didn’t instal the second one until months later. Unfortunately it doesn’t work and I can return to Amazon.
