This is the 3rd XBox One Ive got in less then 4years Which speaks volumes on what a truly anti-climatic generation this has been Dont be fooled by all the trolls online pumping up the nonsensical Console War The whole VS thing is a huge reason why Gaming is in this very strange place with smoke, mirrors, and greed Nobody can think like a consumer! They are to busy being fanboys If you are going to get a One S get the 500GB bundle its the best value Then take the extra $100.00 you wouldve payed for the 1TB bundle and get a 3-5TB portable hard drive Every XBox One can have storage added 1TB might sound like a lot but, with these games its really not The One S is a massive step forward but, also a step backwards (Last Con) Pros for upgrading to a XBox One S If you have a Ultra HD tv this is a true must have device For less then $299.99 youll get a console that has a 4K Ultra HD Blu Ray player Is it really future proof??? Yes and No 4K Ultra HD at this moment and time is super niche More so then the 3D Home experience 4K is hit and miss (There are a dozen or so must have 4K psychical disc in the North America) A huge amount of 4K disc are garbage films nobody really cares about let alone owning on a overpriced 4K disc But, at the moment all 4K Ultra blu ray discs are region free There are a lot more legit must own 4K releases but, youll have to Import them Germany has the Original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Neon Demon Italy has the Original Dawn of the Dead in a Limited 4K Set As far as streaming Amazon Prime actually has a good size amount of 4K content its just a bit hard to find The studios putting out the most 4K Ultra HD content are Adult studios shocking! But, even Adult studios havent tried to put out psychical copies of Ultra HD films Ultra HD might be the flavor of the week for tech companies/tech nerds But, its years away from being mainstream Pros: Size its not so bulky looking! It no longer looks like a Laserdisc Player or VCR Its less retro and more sleek and modern (wouldve been nice to have a choice between colors though) The white looks ok but, how many HD tvs are white?? It also has a eject button added something the other variations of the XBox One never had Pros: All XBox One Consoles are backwards compatible (6-8months ago that would honestly mean nothing But, Despite the missteps by Microsoft during this current generation The Back-wards compatible catalog is impressive and gets update once a month Some game actually look better if you play them on the Xbox One (Gears of War: Judgement, Injustice: Gods Among Us are two titles that pop and look very slick Not sure if its the Emulation or what but, some games are being Upconverted (You can see a good size difference If you play either of these games on a 360 then swap them to the XOne But, some games look the same the Original Mass Effect comes to mind Pros: This version no longer has the bulky power brick its a cord (Much like a everyday PC or Laptop) Pros: It does upconvert various games in Ultra HD Yes its not native 4K But, very few people would even truly know much of a difference between upconverting/native Theres a massive difference in various games Dead Rising 3 & 4, Mafia 3, Bio Shock (Remastered) Bio Shock 2 (Remastered) and both version of Ori and the Blind Forest look outstanding But, then you have games like the Prototype Biohazard Bundle (re-relased a few years ago that look terrible thats not really the consoles fault though its Activision who was shameless to re-release a game thats pretty much a port from the PS3 and 360 Pro: Being able to add extra storage (Youll fill up your console hard drive fast) Its better to have more storage then less Try to have at least 3-5TB Pro: Actually given a pack in game (For a long time Hardware companies packed in a game or two) Then around the time of the original Playstation something changed where manufactures were being cheap and greedy and stopped packing in any game with the One S theres a number of bundle with various games (Microsoft shouldve added a second game though Ori and the Blind Forest shouldve been the second pack in title thats the exclusive they should try and have in every home with Windows 10 and XBox The Cons/negatives of the One S Cons: The HDMI Cable given is horrible (Its bargain basement cheap) I understand its better then nothing In the early days of the Red vs Blue (HD DVD vs Blu-Ray) Format war neither player gave you a HDMI Cable This is something but, its really not worth using if you want the real 4K experience Youll need a High Speed 4K HDMI 2.0/3.0 cable (A High Speed 4k HDMI Cable isnt very expensive the prices range from over priced $60.00 to around $20.00) Cons: The controller is terrible (This is by far the worst XBox One controller) Ive seen three different incarnations of it It just gets worse with every variation The original black xbox one controller was close to perfect Then came the limited edition white controller with the Quantum Break Bundle a drop off This white one with the XBox One S just feels off and cheap/rushed You can gamble on the overpriced Pro Controller that runs over $150.00 but, I dont trust MS Ive heard others c/o about the controller thats bundled with the One S So Im not crazy If you are buying this to actually play games you want a solid HQ way to play games If you are new to the M.S. brand you might not even notice it Ive invested plenty of hours, time, and money with Microsoft from the Original XBox (2002) up until 2016 So it feels way off to me This is no way a bad piece of tech/hardware In many ways this version of the XBox One is what Valve’s Steam Machines should have been Valve should swallowed there pride and actually made a business venture with Microsoft and did the console that way The positives out weigh the negatives But, the controller being average at best knocks it down a lot in my book

Fast and quick delivery. Be aware the game is a code for the game download. It is almost 2 GBs so it takes the better part of a day to download.

Feel like I was better off going to bestbuy or somewhere else to buy smh. Received the Xbox in the mail yesterday. Everything physically was fine. It looks perfect. However when I try to connect to the internet or sign into my account.. its a problem. It wont let me sign in, which means I cant play games or use any apps which makes the Xbox useless. Im really upset. I had high hopes. Ill update if it changes but its day 2 and so far it still wont connect to Wifi at all. Update: sorry lol I had problems at first but now its perfect!

This is a great upgrade over my xbox one original. 4k up-scaling looks great on a 4k tv. The inclusion of a 4k blue-ray player makes this the best priced 4k player you can get for the money. I use it to watch 4k netflix and amazon instant video too. Gaming is pretty much the same as the original xbox one. Although It feels more snappy. if you dont have a 4k tv, or are not planing to upgrade your tv to 4k soon, this might not be worth the upgrade, as Microsofts new major console is due out this holiday season. I highly recommend the one s if you have, or are planning to get a 4k tv.

The Xbox One S 500GB Console - Battlefield 1 Bundle includes: Xbox One S 500GB Console, full game download of Battlefield 1, one month of EA Access, Xbox Wireless Controller, HDMI cable (4K Capable), Power cable and a 14-day Xbox Live Gold Trial.
