Yellow Jacket 19173 5/16 Female Quick Couplers x 1/4 Male Flare

Yellow Jacket, as I understand it, is a good brand to go with. Im not an HVAC technician. I purchased this piece for a friend that is. He helped me install a MrCool ductless unit in my house and we ran into a roadblock when he realized his standard equipment didnt fit the smaller fitting on the A/C. This adapter worked as expected.

I have kind of fat fingers, and the angled fitting helps on installs where the quarters are tight, like some Mitsubishi mini-splits.

Works like it should a must have for anyone who is going to be working on or installing a mini split

A need if your doing your own system

This adapter was needed to complete my mini split AC installation. I had seen it it several stores for much more than Amazon. I was nervous about buying it because of the price but was pleasantly surprised to see that its identical tonthe ones that were 3x as much.

it worked perfectly for install of a Pioneer split AC system

I bought a new manifold gauge set rated for r410a refrigerant but the the hose ends are the standard 1/4. These adapters are excellent.
