I have kind of fat fingers, and the angled fitting helps on installs where the quarters are tight, like some Mitsubishi mini-splits.

Yellow Jacket, as I understand it, is a good brand to go with. Im not an HVAC technician. I purchased this piece for a friend that is. He helped me install a MrCool ductless unit in my house and we ran into a roadblock when he realized his standard equipment didnt fit the smaller fitting on the A/C. This adapter worked as expected.

Great product seals great for any service work on mini split systems

I just bought a manifold, a tank of R410a, and 2p of this adapters, all from Amazon, planning to refill my leaking Carrier 2.5t unit. But, I have to return those 2 adapters because I found that my units service valves and R410a tank are all 1/4 without need of this adapter. So, please dont be misled by some reviews and Q&A. Most of the R410a AC units are designed with 1/4 valves as well as the R410a freon tanks, I guess. By the way, the adapter looked a good quality part.
