This 6 wide portable A/C window kit is better designed and stiffer than those plentiful (and cheap) 4 versions. However, the adapter to a 6 exhaust hose is flimsy and I found it necessary to reinforce with duct tape. In spite of that deficiency, this is the best I have found so am rating it a 5 star.

Work well

I had to put duct tape on the tab that keeps the hose attached to the window kit to prevent it from popping out with the slightest movement. Not sure Im keeping it to be honest with you.

Works ok, but insulation tape did not come.

This product worked well and fit perfectly on my vertical slider window. The added insulation really helped keep out noise and weather.

ABLE TO ADJUST INTO OPEN WINDOW AND ADDED FOAM STRIPS TO KEEP OUT HEAT AT 118 DEGS IN PALM DESERT.

The only thing Id suggest for this kit is to add weather seal tape, a hose to drain the water & a 2nd duct end.

The SereneLife a/c unit would not install in a standard double hung American style window. This is a life and frustration saver. However the exhaust host can slip off if not properly secured. I recommend the purchase of a 6 (six inch) standard worm drive hose clamp to keep the hose secured to the outside vent. That is an additional $4-5 but worth it
