> 3 dayI was looking for something durable enough for our large male sulcata. He is toasty and happy now. Really glad I found this product. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI have 2 Sulcata tortoises around 10-20lbs each maybe even more. I purchased 1 about a year ago and it works really well. The tortoises fight over it and like it so much that I decided to purchase a second one. The mat can be used for other large reptiles. The material is very durable and having 2 heavy tortoises constantly using it, it still trucks on without any issues. I highly recommend these as they have a built-in thermostat that prevents it from getting too hot. Also cleaning the mat is a breeze as its waterproof.

> 3 dayFinally a mat large enough for my Salcuta Tortoise. Seems very sturdy, and he took to it right away. I used a laser thermometer to make sure the Temps werent getting to high. While the Temps fluctuated depending on where on the mat I tested, it did not go over the stated temp on the box.

> 3 dayIve had this for about a month now and so far so good. I purchased it because the temperatures have been so cold and was worried that my overhead ceramic basking lamp wasnt giving enough heat. This heater is durable and safe. Strong critters like my sulcata tortoise cant easily chew through or rip out the cord and get hurt. Ive let it sit in his enclosure without mounting it so hes able to push it around a bit (tortoises have to do something to entertain themselves I suppose) but you can also secure it if you prefer.

> 3 dayMy little dinosaur loves this- so that makes me love it. There was a tremendous difference in his behavior before & after I discovered this & started using it. Before, on cold/rainy days he would stay in his igloo for several days at a time during the winter, he looked sleepy every time I peeked on him, hed barely move at all, & he wouldnt eat even when I put his favorite food right in front of him. After I started using this, even if he stays in his igloo on cold days when I peek on him hell typically look alert & comfy, he has an appetite, & sometimes he even comes out on a cold day because this helped warm him up internally. Its easy to rinse off, theres a red light indicator when the heating pad is on, & it truly does get warm. The 1st day I received it I tested it out myself. I sat on it for about 10-15 mins. By the time I got off of it, my bottom was toasty warm to the touch- but not in an uncomfortable way.

Greater than one weekFirst one I ordered appeared to be used or a return and then got handed down to me for $81.00. It was shipped open box and was scratched up. Not the end of the world if it works good. lizards are going to sit on it. I was suspect to its condition so I plugged it in and let it sit for 1 day then 2 days. Ambient room temp to test, winter, was 71-72 degrees. The heater pad temps were all over the place on the surface. Many 72-76 degree spots. Some spots towards the center where above 80 and below 98 degrees. I bought this for 101-107 degree warming spot/plate. Sent the 1st one back and requested another to try. 2nd one looked unused and it did read higher temps from my infared heat gun measurements. Hopefully due to low ambient temp at the time, when summer is here 88-90 ambient this heater pad will see 110-112 degrees.
