> 3 dayMy tortoise loves his blanket! I really didnt think he would because he is so big and stubborn! Yet it worked great. I liked the extra protection to the power cord and the even distributed of warmth. The plateform was easy to clean and move where ever I needed it to go.

> 3 dayI do recommend using a thermostat with it. Some larger tortoises, like above 150lbs, may not need one. Large non hibernating tortoises need heat from below in cold temperatures.

> 3 dayMy five year old Sulcata has just been moved outside full-time and needed heat for his enclosure. I was concerned about letting him lay straight on the mat since he isn’t full-grown, so I fixed the mat to the wall of his enclosure. My tortoise seems to be fine and burrows in his substrate closest to the heater at night. I did have to purchase a thermostat separately to control the temperature and I’m still making adjustments to the settings. So far I am happy with the purchase.

21-11-2024I’m in southern NV so winters are relatively mild. This has worked great so far. My sulcatas love their heat pads.

> 3 dayIt doesnt get that hot and I constantly have to check it to make sure its working at all. Putting a thermostat on it kept turning it off.
