Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamp, 13 Watts

I have ordered so many differen Uvb lights from Amazon and consistently have a problem with them not working/burning out quickly. These lights have all held up. This will be my product of choice from here on out.

The price is right with this much needed UVB light for reptiles. I am a just starting out with a lizard and she started having problems. Reading on the internet that it was important that the have a UVB light I ordered this on. A lot cheaper than my local pet supply store my lizard got better and better. Its been running a month and no problems.

This bulb works great for my crested gecko. He will even sleep under it. I like it doesnt put out much heat at all. I dont like having to replace it every 6 months because the uvb vanishes but the light still works. It is normal with uvb bulbs but it is still annoying.

So far we’ve used it three times, it heats up and supplies enough light that’s safe for our Anoles.

One burnt out in 2 weeks and the other doesn’t work at all.

Great bulb. I actually use it for my parrots, to supplement UV lighting. They love perching under it all day. This lighting makes for a happy, healthy bird!
