Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamp, 13 Watts

Nikwax
Greater than one weekYet another brand of UV lamp that is dim and very blue. My poor tortoise was very sad. The Zoo Med and Lucky Herp branded lamps are basically the same: dim, and very poor quality light output. Save yourself time and buy Exo-Terra lamps for your tortoises, they deserve the best.

Greater than one weekDoes exactly what it is supposed to do. Use it for our chameleon enclosure. Live plants in the terrarium do great with this light.

> 3 dayAt first I loved this bulb, its incredibly bright and my turtle loved basking in it. However today it randomly died and is now a worthless paper weight.

> 3 dayIt is plenty bright. I wish it put out more heat, but I guess that is what a heat lamp and water heater is for. Doesnt stick too far out of the lamp shade. Great price!

> 3 dayMeasured it with a Solarmeter UVC meter, emits 5+ microwatts/cm^2 254-262 nm UVC at close range. It should not be doing this; this is bad for reptiles.
