> 3 dayI used it maybe 4 or 5 times, about 12 hours each time, but its burned now. I have purchased this item from Petco before, that one lasted very long. So I think Ill just go back to the store to get another one. But other than the short life, this bulb is warm and bright, no strange smell when its on.

> 3 dayZoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 UVB Mini Compact Fluorescent (13 watts) ~ List Price: $17.99 on sale for $14.74 Sold by:the Zoo Med Store ~ Shipped by Amazon Last purchased Sep 18, 2022 Ive come across tons of articles and forum posts over the years saying fluorescent tubes are generally the best, but they can be overkill for smaller enclosures and more temperate species, and as far as CFL UVB lights go Zoo Med has had the best reputation from the get go. Been using these as my go-to UVB lights for years on and off whenever Im keeping reptiles and never had any issues with them and my pets are happy and healthy. Nice to get them at a better price here on Amazon as the LPSs charge an arm and a leg. I do wish theyd get around to making these that did the UVA/UVB plus added full spectrum, but perhaps theres something that makes that difficult or expensive. Anyway as far as UVB lights go Ive always been happy with these.
