Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamp, 13 Watts

I bought this about a month ago. So far its been good, right now i have it installed in a 20 gallon tank. I will be getting a bigger tank soon, so i guess ill have ti get a bigger light, but overall if you do your research this light should last at least 10 months.

I bought the reptisun 5.0 for my map turtle. It has worked well. Please note youll need a deep dome fixture for it. The bulb is a little long.

At first I loved this bulb, its incredibly bright and my turtle loved basking in it. However today it randomly died and is now a worthless paper weight.

Great light, perfect for our Russian Tortoise! The last one I had lasted about a year and a half, being turned on for at least 10 hours a day.

Needed this for my tortoises and it came the same day very durably lasts months

Works without problems for 4 months. My slider turtle happy.

WORKS GREAT

I compared the bird lights with the reptile lights and as long as you get the correct UV amount (5 or under), theyre identical to the bird lights but a third of the price. I swapped my larger avian bulbs above my two baby finch cages with these that are smaller and they are still almost just as bright but more appropriately sized so Im very happy with them. Will get again when I replace.
