Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamp, 13 Watts

I recieved a used bulb that was used and dirty. I had to return it. Hopefully the replacement will be a new one. Because UV bulbs must be replaced periodically, it is imperative that the bulb be fresh, since the UV output decreases even when the light still is shining. Ive learned to be careful of return fraud with these. A used light that is no longer working properly can cause harm to your animals. Update: The second bulb also is not working properly. I included a picture that shows its dimness. I wont reorder this bulb from Amazon.

Didnt even last 3 months (and yes I use daily timers and had the proper bulb) the bulb I used previously for over a year and switched out with this one was the exact same type of bulb (youre supposed to change it once a year even if it still works.) Yet the one I bought here in April of this year has already blown- not satisfied :(

Lower wattage than what I expected. Not really appropriate for 40 gal breeders tank I have my plated lizards in. Maybe use it on fire-bellied toad in ten gallon tank.

it is okay but it didnt work for me didnt give off enough heat for my turtle it will work well in the summer
