> 3 dayThis product works and it’s not a password reset/back up disc. It’s a password zapper, as in gets rid of your password so you don’t need it to login. You can always add one after, but it gets rid of the current password.

Greater than one weekIm a watchmaker and I do tech repair. I have a space for both, watches and laptops etc. On occasions I work on a clients computer that they forgot their password. I go through the procedure to make sure its not stolen, and then I agree to work on it. And the tool does the job. Saved me time. I used to remove the chipset on the motherboard, resolder it on a USB port, run the chipset on my computer, find the password, etc... this saves a lot of time.

> 3 dayI was given a fairly new windows 8 desktop. The previous owner just got out of surgery for a massive brain tumor. They forgot the password (understandable). It took me a while to get the setting right to boot from the USB dongle, but when I did, it was very simple to remove the old password. Im now moving in to my new computer, thanks to this device. I suspect the people who say it didnt work, probably gave up sooner than I did.

> 3 dayI had spent most of my day two days ago trying to get into a Windows 10 laptop that had stopped taking the pin number and we had forgotten the password. I tried reset, restore and repair only to be met with the password prompt. I tried to boot with two windows 10 thumbdrives. They didnt show up as a boot devices. It didnt have a CD player on the laptop so I connected an external. I tried booting with my Windows 10 disc. It wasnt recognized either.
