ZYLISS Right Scoop Gray

I needed to replace my first Zyliss scoop. The metal started to flake. Maybe it wasn’t meant for dishwasher? The replacement has a different handle. Not completely round. Kind of squared. It’s harder for me to get a good grip. Wish they hadn’t built the “better” mousetrap. I would still recommend.

A chef told us about these years ago. We have two and really like them. You will not find a better ice cream scoop.

I have been scooping ice cream nearly every night for decades for somebody or other ..... Our family prefers very hard ice cream, but this scoop cuts through it very well. It seems like the head is too big for the handle, but thats part of the design. Bought this one for my elderly dad to make it easier for him as well.

I have been a Zyliss fan for many years but never bothered procuring their ice cream scoop. We have a scoop from another company that is designed to impart the heat of your hand into the scooping head and its supposed to help with ice cream extraction. Never mind the fact that most ice cream extraction performed in our house is done on the couch with a single-serving spoon during the course of shows/movies. This scoop, however, was in my mothers house during a recent visit and I was so impressed I got one as well. And Im glad I did. It gives us a reason to now put use spoons for eating ice cream out of bowls like adults. Another home run for Zyliss :-)

Great product, well made. Makes scooping even hard frozen ice cream easy.

Original model was thinner scoop and easily scooped ice cream fresh out of the freezer. Not so easy with this model.

My husband has bent other ice cream scoopers but this one is sturdy for when the ice cream is really frozen

Comfortable to use. Feels strongly built.
