> 3 dayThe hardware and design of this Chromebook are really good for the price, its light and comfortable to use both as a laptop and in tablet mode. It doesnt feel as cheaply made as other Chromebooks around this price point. If you have an Android phone, it pairs nicely and allows you to view your text messages (using Android Messages) and unlock the laptop automatically. I love being able to run Google Play apps and Linux apps from this machine, it makes it possible for me to get all my work done. The battery life is phenomenal and the 1080p screen is really good quality as well. The only con I have with this machine is that some Android apps dont scale correctly due to its high definition and screen size, but thats more of a software problem with Chrome OS than the notebook itself. Overall if youre a student or a professional I would recommend this product as not only are you getting a good value for the price but its genuinely an awesome experience at a price to beat.

> 3 dayI have been using this Chromebook since October, so still pretty new. I noticed a couple of months ago that when I asked it to do something, like open a window, the response time was very slow. Annoying, but still bearable. Then I found that when I close it for the night, it randomly turns itself off instead of just going to sleep. And last nightwhen it did this the battery was still basically 100%; I had just unplugged it before carrying it to a different room. I am very disappointed.

Greater than one weekThe computer works wonderfully. Really happy with it and for work it’s amazing. The touch screen works great and battery lasts even longer than it says on the product. Extremely light as well super great fit for someone who works from many different places.

> 3 dayI really want to buy this. But it has only one C port and one 3.1 Gen1 port. Plug in a mouse and a charger and youre done. I dont want to always rely on a dodgy bank of ports. Next?

> 3 dayWe got this for our 9 year old for Christmas. It was easy to set up and get him going on it right away. Weve had zero issues with it and our son loves it. He plays a lot of games and uses the touch screen a LOT... again, no issues. My only complaint is that once you set the parental controls, its like an act of Congress to revise or make changes and I dont have the patience to go through the process. Because of that, one of the games our son wants to play I cant get added even though I approved it. Parental controls are great and I definitely think its a good thing to have, but now I wish I had set his levels a little higher.

> 3 dayI waited until Ive had this for awhile before reviewing. Acer makes really nice products and this is no exception. Feels and is solid. No cheap plastic. I mainly use mine as a tablet, but works great as a laptop also. Chromium is Chromium. You either like it or you dont. I like it. You can install Android Apps from the Google Play store. The touch screen works fine. As does the touch pad. The screen colors and resolution are great. Stereo speakers with good sound. I have no issues or complaints. And you definitely arent going to beat the price.
