Has anybody found a cable lock that fits this? I visited the Acer forum, and everyone has the same problem. One customer received a response from Acer claiming that their engineers designed the lock port that doesnt fit any known Kensington lock. Their suggestion is to string a cable through the device holes and lock it some other way.

Very pleased with this purchase a little over half a year later. Built very solidly, yet light when carrying. Touchscreen response is great, works really well and that was the reason I selected this model. Very satisfied, no compliants at all.

Down sized to this touchscreen chromebook 13 inch, it is perfect.

The hardware and design of this Chromebook are really good for the price, its light and comfortable to use both as a laptop and in tablet mode. It doesnt feel as cheaply made as other Chromebooks around this price point. If you have an Android phone, it pairs nicely and allows you to view your text messages (using Android Messages) and unlock the laptop automatically. I love being able to run Google Play apps and Linux apps from this machine, it makes it possible for me to get all my work done. The battery life is phenomenal and the 1080p screen is really good quality as well. The only con I have with this machine is that some Android apps dont scale correctly due to its high definition and screen size, but thats more of a software problem with Chrome OS than the notebook itself. Overall if youre a student or a professional I would recommend this product as not only are you getting a good value for the price but its genuinely an awesome experience at a price to beat.

I cant compare this to other Chromebooks, because well, shes my first. But I can compare it to other notebooks that Ive used... and my overall impression is excellent. Battery life, boot time, reliability, everything, just works.

We got this for our 9 year old for Christmas. It was easy to set up and get him going on it right away. Weve had zero issues with it and our son loves it. He plays a lot of games and uses the touch screen a LOT... again, no issues. My only complaint is that once you set the parental controls, its like an act of Congress to revise or make changes and I dont have the patience to go through the process. Because of that, one of the games our son wants to play I cant get added even though I approved it. Parental controls are great and I definitely think its a good thing to have, but now I wish I had set his levels a little higher.

I dont care for the OS blocking some google store apps and allowing others. I have apps on my phone that cant be downloaded on this computer. The computing ability outshines most other mini laptops, especially Samsung. On the other hand, Samsung doesnt block as many apps. Its fairly heavy for its size, but that isnt much of a negative, so I cant call it light weight. It has an incredible battery life. Just as advertized.

After five months of light use at home, the case is falling apart. The internal hardware at one corner of the screen has detached, so the whole screen side of the computer wants to come apart. It has never been dropped and there has been no abuse at all.
