> 3 dayI have been reading so much about pressing mats and how they help make patch work so crisp and precise so I splurged and bought this wool pressing mat. I set it up on a TV tray to the left of my sewing machine for a convenient pressing station. It has worked out very well and I am very pleased. I use a mini craft iron and it all works great for quick piecing!

> 3 dayNow that I have used my mat and have learned a little more, I really like it. Use a dry iron. Steam doesnt work so well.

> 3 dayI wish I had bought the bigger one but I was concerned about the reviews that says it smelled. Well, it doesn’t, but if you use steam on it you might notice a faint “wet dog” smell because, come on people, it’s animal fiber!! It does a great job of pressing seams and I wish I had bought one sooner!!!

Greater than one weekI used this mat at a quilt group meeting and knew I wanted one. The mat really makes a difference pressing blocks flat. This mat is firm enough to take along to retreats.

> 3 dayWorks like a charm. Great for the small Oliso iron I purchased with it. Used with the Rowenta steam station iron and smelled like I was out at the farm. I really hope that fades over time. Thick and sturdy.
