Im a quilter and was absolutely amazed at the difference using the wool mat made when I pressed my first block after receiving it!! I didnt even need to use any type of spray on product to achieve a perfectly flat block. Kinda wishing Id purchased the whole ironing board size, but the 13 x 17 is good for pressing individual blocks.

I love this mat for ironing my quilt blocks. It helps everything stay nice and flat without steam. It had a funny smell at first. I think this is typical of wool. That has gone away. My sister was visiting and she used it and had to order one too. This is much less expensive than those you buy at quilt shops but works just as well.

The woolen pressing mat is exceptional! Ive been watching for them for a while and this one does not disappoint. Right from the start, love the results!

Used it for embroidery, finally did not have to drag the ironing board out. It does get throughout when using the steam. Good size and quality

Works like a charm. Great for the small Oliso iron I purchased with it. Used with the Rowenta steam station iron and smelled like I was out at the farm. I really hope that fades over time. Thick and sturdy.

My wool pressing mat arrived in a timely manner and I immediately gave it quite the workout, ironing tons of scrap fabric for various projects, along with a bunch of antique linens that had been folded up in a box for way too long. Did exactly what it was supposed to and made my ironing a much faster job than if I had just used my ironing board.
