First bulb lasted less than 7 days, on the second one now but looking to buy something else as I dont expect it to last long. UPDATE - stay away, second bulb stopped working in a little over a week.

This was my second order. No fancy name brand, but what a great value. I’ve been using them for months now and no problems. The free thermometer is a great bonus.

Terrible product. Not sure if I got a returned item or what. I used one bulb and it went out the next day. Tried using a different dome and still not working. Even plugged it into a different socket. Returning it now. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

So far so good. I think it could put out more heat. However, I love that i do not have to have the bright light in a dark room at night. My wife still think it doesnt work. But, it works great.

Love that it came with 2 instead of 1. Wasn’t expecting that. The heat is perfect for my beardy. She loves it bc I can keep it on throughout the night without interrupting her sleep. It stays pretty cold in my house so it’s perfect.

These bulbs were bigger than what I had thought they were when I ordered them. When I ordered the lamp for these, they came with a smaller size or diameter UV bulb that has the similar shape to these bulbs. I figured they were going to be the same in size. Wrong! These heat bulbs are much larger, so they will require a heat shield or can for the bulb to be recessed in. To protect anyone who may be reaching around the bulb. Because they do and will burn you if they are on! They get very hot and burn on contact!!

I’ve ordered 4 of these, tested 3 so far and they all work great. Living in a cold house I use these with Showcase cages to provide heat to snakes and tarantulas. I used another brand six years ago and had a few that were bad out of the box. Those that did work, however are still going good today. Always use some type of temperature control if you are using these with animals.

This in one of the best product ever for making your own incubator and a lot more, works perfect gives a lot of heat and will stay steady on a good thermometer..
