> 3 dayLets start off by saying this lamp is absolutely hot to the touch and when it is in your light socket. The heat on it is okay sometimes my room gets a little colder and I dont like to let my bearded dragons tank drop below 65. They say between like 65 and 70 is the perfect temperature. I think it is better for smaller cages. I think as it gets hotter though the light definitely works better.

Greater than one weekJust used the first one and it stopped working within a week. Thankfully I check daily or else my hedgehog could have attempted hibernation. Will not repurchase and do not advise. Will spend a little more money and purchase from Petco.

> 3 dayAfter a month of normal use with a thermostat and timer (all other pieces used had been used for years with no issues) this bulb suddenly shorted out and caught fire!! I will NOT be getting these CHEs again!!

Greater than one weekIt works great, we use it for our turtles. Even our shy one now spends more time than usual on the ramp in the heat. The only issue is the dome light rested on the top which cracked the cover glass. I account this issue as the result of the hooks that hold up the ramp to the tank make that glass area press up slightly adding pressure. With the slight pressure and heat it cracked it. Not a big deal.

24-11-2024I love these bulbs, my lizard love these bulbs. Only 3 stars because one did not work when they came in but they last a fairly decent amount of time. The last one lasted almost a year.
