This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She has a snake and Bearded Dragon. Don’t really know about their effectiveness yet!

Got real hot. Could smell and see fumes coming off it. Bottom of bulb looked like it was maybe melting? Rough and crusty looking. Had to disconnect it, felt it could be a fire hazard. Will buy named brand next time as I have in the past.

Thermometer was a hunk of,junk and heatoutput was unsatisfactory

Works just like i want it to. I use it for my lizard. He seems to enjoy the heat.
